Always love talking about the old days!One thing is for sure back in the 3 Class system you had to play real hardnose football to get to the finals!

I would love it if they cut down the divisions a bit like this:

1A & 2A = 1A imagine a district with UC Lake Peabody and Maybe even Huntingdon

3A = 2A

4A = 3A

5A & 6 A = 4A

Division 2 Private 1A, 2A, and 3A = D2

then you would only have 5 divisions.

tennessee has 9 state champions

Texas has 11 state champs

we shouldn’t be close to the amount the largest state has js

 it this is just my opinion.

1A-350

2A-500

3A-800

4a-1200

5A-1800

Number of Students-I think putting schools with 180-220 students up against 400 students is a little to wide of a gap.But i do like 5 classes.

And both our teams beat and got beat by them.

Yeah, I believe we both matched up well with them at times.  You guys would probably match up well with them now.  I know we really spoiled Webb's run for a state title back in 89 but DCA and Scooter brought us back down reality a week later.

So if you went with the five classes you have listed above what would you do with all the schools with more than 1800 students??

I wish we would go back to a 5 class system.

NCS cost us,CAK cost us,Catholic cost us.BGA cost us.privates have hurt all the small schools one time or another.I agree glad they have their own division.

That 2015 NCS team may have been the most talented 1a team I've seen. Wasn't nothing fair about it. School has got to be pretty small to play 1a with the multiplier! That team had multiple D1 prospects. Can't believe they got away with it.
