Copper Hill had a good atmosphere going in 1987.   However, I don't think this Copper Pan team is anywhere near as good as that '87 team.

That was a great game. Outside of the minute and 20 seconds that it took SP to score 3 touchdowns,  Copper Basin kept it knotted up. 

@piratetom remembers one of those scores very vividly.

 I was trying to be a little kind hearted towards CB but after reading some post on other topics I hope SP goes in there and lights up the scoreboard! Let everyone know what to expect when SP gets ready to play!

Different year and a different SP show this year. CB, you get to watch and feel the SP show up close and personal.  I guess your mouths will be dropped after the 3rd or 4th TD we score.  We have played a very good Meigs team that would mercy you and Seq and Huntland would beat you by at least 21. So, yall keep your spirit up and pray we come out flat footed and make all kinds of mistakes, bc  that is the only way yall keep it close.  Just don't see that happening with the 16 or so Seniors and the 14 or so Jr's.  But, I have seen stranger things happen, so keep the faith.
