I am afraid there is more to this than a rumor. This is metro public schools making decisions.

No fall sports per Metro Nashville Health Department.  Kids likely won't be in school until late October at the earliest so no Fall Sports this year for Metro Nashville.  Metro Nashville has failed yet again.

According to wkrn.com  the Metro Heath Dept recommends no sporting events until kids can go to school in person .

So hopefully i have interpreted this incorrectly..... Can a metro school, while still doing virtual learning, adhere to the guidelines set forth, play a real game on September 11?

From that statement, it seems like they can if the schools adhere to the guidelines set forth by MPHD

What it says is unless you can physically walk into a class, sit down with a real live teacher present, you can play sports.  If you cannot do that, you cannot play.  Virtual don't count.

I do the PA Announcing for White House Heritage in White House and I was talking to an Administrator about this. He agreed TSSAA now has a mess on their hands. These kids should be able to transfer out and play immediately! I don’t won’t to get political, but I hope this opens folks eyes for those that voted for Cooper. I hope parents protest over this!
