The flaw in your study is that you don't believe.

Are yall serious?  There are countless biblical examples of this not being true.

And since you don't know me from Adam, perhaps you should save your judgement...

Why evidence do you have that shows he is not objective?  He has only mentioned his opinion based on things that he has directly experienced. If you think he is biased in some way please support with evidence.

Phrases like "Good Christian Parents" aren't objective or quantifiable.

Backing up a step first,I hate what happened in knoxville and it's always sad when things like this occur.I've got a son who wears the blue and always support the vast number of great policeman that put their lives on the line. Now,No doubt without having any facts to back up what I'm about to write, kids stand a better chance with a good home and support. My opinion is even if it's a single house mom,dad or grandparent having to do extra work or two great parents working together.Yes we all also know examples of great christian parents who had not so great kids .We also have seen young men and woman grow into great adults without a father or mother worth two cents. That all said,I still like the odds of  two fine parents, grandparents or whatever compared to a single house parent like Batman grew up in half the time or watching half a dozen different combinations for parents..

I guess you know 32hammer too.Right hypocrite?

What a clown show.  I haven't once given my own opinion as fact.  I didn't say he was a bad person.  I said he wasn't objective.  Opinions aren't objective.  That's all.  I don't know anything about him.  Ope, you okay?

32hammer laid out his "control group" for you. It's sad you can't grasp that and it doesn't fit your opinion.Hypocrite.

Ah yes, Let's start with King David, "The man after God's own heart."  His father Jesse, was honestly more righteous than he.  Jesse was a humble, god-fearing father, and yet he raised a man so full of lust that he sent an innocent man to his death in order to bed his wife.

Or maybe the first father, Adam, who clearly loved God, and yet raised a child prone to fratricide.

That's enough, but we could do this all day.

    • The Girls Basketball team I am a part of played for a gold ball this season. One of the biggest differences in the sports is that there is no field prep/maintenance in basketball.   Our baseball is successful and play 30 games in the regular season as well. All of the teams dedicate A LOT of time in preparing for their next opponent.
    • “facts” or better yet ‘opinions’ had been up for weeks/months. that’s not why the thread was deleted. get over yourself.
    • Im pretty excited about the new rules that NFHS voted to adopt. Does anyone know if this will take place in Tennessee starting this year? I think I heard/read somewhere that the TSSAA bi-laws say they have to mirror what the NFHS does, and when the NFHS offered the current weight classes as options, TSSAA didn’t adopt them until NFHS made them official. Did NFHS make these changes official starting next season or will it be similar to the weight classes where TSSAA doesn’t change what they are doing until it is  an officially official part of the NFHS rule book? It’ll be interesting to see if it is rolled out for the new TSSAA Middle School season and I saw a post where the youth wrestling in TN was going to vote on adopting it as well.  I’ll pray for all the youth coaches that will have to shoulder the confusion from all those crazy #### parents who already think they know the rules more than everyone else  . Imagine the first time their kid is taken down and a 3 goes up on the scoreboard or their kid gets pinned with only one point of contact in the cylinder. Their heads might explode. i kid, I kid. Sort of. I’m surprised ride time was brought down with all the other changes. I know some argue that it promotes stalling on top, but its been an official scoring method in college forever, so I figure it must be doing something right. Do any of you think that’ll ever be implemented?
    • Crazy how the thread just gets deleted when facts come out.
    • I understand I guess it depends on the school you are with and the time you want to put in.  It’s evident of the schools that don’t put in as much times.  I would say basketball players put in as much time as any sport in our school system and this is coming from a football town.  Bball is a longer season than other sports.
