That's what was said but the former coach signed a two year contract and when Jones came he decided not to play it, for whatever excuse.  If I remember it correctly, most of these same posters that are saying put it back agreed with the coach when he decided to cancel it.  I'm fine either way.  Not going to bring the c word up but that rivalry has held the county back for a long time anyway.

Yes.  Heath as been on the staff for 20 something years and Wes Stone is currently there and has been off and on over the years other than a short gig at Boyd.

I talked to someone last night about the possibility of this game being played since Jones left. I don't see this game being played for a long time according to him. That bridge was burned he said.
