I can't get over the fact that D-B lost to the 4th place team from Blount County at home. What team is 4th in Sullivan County?

QB went down in the first half up 21-7 and had scored on every drive before he was hurt! Best linebacker was suspended due to a bad call in Oak Ridge game! Like Maryville now, DB had at least three other starters out as well! DB has depth but couldn't overcome the losses as well as Maryville does when starters are out at key positions!

Brandon Fanney. Thinking at one time he was committed or possibly signed with Bama. Not sure what became of him.

Fanney got himself in to some issues at Bama and ended up finishing his college career at the University of North Alabama.

I remember the Wright's, Greene's and the Fargo's at the Jacobs building in the 50's and 60's. Had to take my Dad on friday night  in order to get the car on saturday night. Great times with my Dad though, he loved that stuff. Had "season tickets" in the 3rd row ringside.

 Here are some stats for new members to our state reading coacht.17 out of the last 19 state football championship playoffs has had Maryville in a title game. 12 state titles in those years.I think coach Quarles playoff record 76-6 with 11 state titles might be the most awesome stat.Easy to forget Maryville has been playing up for the last eight years as well.Maryville has had 9 perfect seasons during this run and been ranked among the nations top several times.Yes this is a beast in Tennessee and anyone that beats them has a reason to celebrate.
