And we have done so 2 of the last 3 years(2015 & 2017). We will see soon enough and if the seedings hold, it will all be settled on the field!

I know a lot of the players are hoping for a Tyner at Watertown matchup. Lots of football to be played between now and then, but that would be pretty epic. Just hope everyone on both sides stay healthy between now and (hopefully) then. But Tyner better not overlook that possible matchup with TC. Looking forward to a great playoff season. Some really good teams out there. Should be fun.

I will say 2A is so deep this year,I believe there are 12 teams that could easily "peak" and get healthy and win it all!!! If you disagree then you dont know football!! Sure there are favorites but IMO that means zilch!! 1A is different there's 4 teams that have legit shots and that's about it!!!

Does Memphis Douglass still have that same QB from last year?

Thus the “there’s a lot of football to played between now and (hopefully) then” statement.

No telling what can happen on any given Friday (or Thursday for the championship game).

Alot of good football to be played everywhere in 2A starting in round 2. I'm curious if it works out that Tyner was to beat Trousdale, how will the matchup between Watertown be.

Most of the kids (excluding the freshmen) know what it takes to get to Cookeville. They are on a mission and I don't believe their will be a game where less than 100% won't be given. You are right, the key is you must stay healthy! Looking for an exciting playoff season! Starting in November everybody's record is 0-0.

    • Why? Low pay. Low budget thanks to the Rotary milking the programs revenue. Foul smell. There are other negative things... Positives: the players and being toward the top of the classification numbers wise.
    • What we have here is an influx of outsiders raining down on the town of Maryville like a swarm of locust trying to change our culture into the same crap they moved away from. I have no issues with anyone coming here but don't bring your politics with you. Most people around here never pay attention to the elections and keep letting the same ole rats and vermin right back in the back door and wonder why things are like they are. The problem at Maryville High is mainly due to letting outsiders get a foothold on control and shove their agenda down everyone's throat. Anyone that leaves there or let's say ranoff are replaced with an outsider with the same mindset. Eventually Maryville High will never be the same as it once was which I'm beginning to believe already but it's only chance of survival are to recruit people that will get in there and reverse the damage that has already happened.
