Winning a title in girls basketball in this state is incredibly hard for anybody in any class. There are alot of great coaches that don't win one

Sometimes I'm just dumbfounded by people's logic. Two teams playing similar styles in a close game and you might have an argument...one team sits back in a compact zone, while the other implements an aggressive full court man press and your foul totals should be off by double or more. Suggesting that foul totals come out even or that there was some kind of bias doesn't make sense in a lot of cases.

What fan base isn’t like this tho? Lol cmon now lets be real. There’s always going to be “those fans” with any fan base. If you ever been to any games in the Upper Cumberland just about every fan base is like this. We are all passionate and very supportive of our teams up here… doesn’t mean we’re bad people because of it… we just like to get rowdy and loud!

Man oh Man ! Considering a lot of us know each other personally on here, I know I can speak for some and truly question why this is even a option, someone said he just sat a couple games and was always coming back ! That’s a absolute lie ! I will support our young men that fought to get here but this is a major Disappointment !!!!!

White County also lost to Page by 21 points in Substate that SS just beat Page. No matter what happens today there is now way of proving any team was the best team mid way through a season when they haven't played each other. I do know this, you have the Two best teams in AAA facing off today.

I don't know if there has been a team in the country that has gone through so much adversity than the Dresden Lady Lions. I was listening to their game on the radio, and I didn't exactly noticed what that team has gone through. I want to say the father of their head coach passed away right before the opening night of the season. Then, two players experienced a death of a grandparent. But we can't forget the tornado that ripped through that town. I want to say the tornado destroyed two players' homes. They lost to Gleason by 22 in early January, and won game #2 with the Lady Bulldogs by 15 later that month. For them and many more athletes across our country, I'm sure they're using this sport as an escape from normal life. Congratulations to Dresden on an amazing season, when they could've had every reason and every excuse to mail it in.

On Powell and the loss of the OC, I like Matt Lowe and Adam Seymore calling plays a whole lot more than I ever did JJ calling them. Have a feeling it comes down to Powell and West on the east side of the bracket again.

New OC is Nathan Simbeck. Been at Knox Central past 2 seasons.

Maybe more like if you don’t have the talent in your district, you poach. Which seems to be the case with Meigs’ best players in their new found success under Fitz. The necks in the stands enjoy screaming and cheering for kids from other counties. but that’s just the way it is now. Take any state champ caliber team, and it will not be a homegrown roster with kids that grew up together in the district. Those days are gone for good. So I hope the teams i root for do the same. Recruit like heck baby!! Just the way it is now.

Yeah pretty tough when you beat an opponent four times and they end up going to the state tournament while you sit at home. If they had arrested her one day earlier I believe Clay County would have won the region championship and you would have faced RBS instead of Clay County and then of course would have won. Whitwell was better than I thought so I give credit where credit is due. I had spoken to Clay’s coach after their region loss and he said Whitwell was a very good team so I know he did not take this game lightly at all.
