Not to be that guy. But south gibson out ranks anyone on Springfield schedule so far. I’m not here to throw shade. This game has me nervous. And I see how fast things can go sideways. I’m just sayin….

We have played three 6A schools, Clarksville High, Wilson Central and Clarksville Rossville, so far this year.  Unfortunately, none of those three have given us the level of competition we fans thought they would.  That last sentence is a mouth full

I meant no disrespect. The jackets have handled everything in there way ,no doubt. Someone had mentioned HC hasn’t won against any tough teams. I was just saying South Gibson was no slouch.

We've had a chance to win both games with less than a minute to go in both games. Y'all have yet to be in a "tough" game. Weak schedule....

Close only counts in horse shoes and hand grenades my friend……..a team can learn just as much from playing poorly and still getting a win against a “less than” opponent. My point to that comment is both teams wins have come from what I would call sub-par opponents.

South Gibson is not sub par in my opinion. They are a good solid team. Their previous only loss was to Milan by 3. We beat them last night by 22.

Milan had gotten thrashed twice this year. So that’s not saying much. In 4a.

Not to argue cause you are 100% correct. We have gotten thrashed twice this season. Just want to point out those loses came when we had multiple starters out with injury. Had they played I think the scoreboard would have been much different. But again you are correct.

Ok well maybe that makes more sense to me now. I saw the solid results the first few games. My team is dealing with the same issues

Henry by 4 scores.

The Henry Co "Star OC" only struggles against elite defenses (Beech/Brentwood). Springfield scores are deceptive. They haven't played anyone all year.

Better be ready because the Big. Red. Rolls. Friday night.

Henry Co. Vs Mt Juliet Semi Finals.

Offer still stands big guy

    • I believe the Covington Chargers travel to Trenton Peabody for a scrimmage today? Anyone going to this? Curious how the Chargers will do.
    • Good ole Bradley Zulliger. He was a really good QB @ OR. Fun to watch.  Wore #15 and was like a mini Tebow, with the exception of being right handed. He could take a pounding and keep on ticking. Played with a collapsed lung against Powell that year. Tough as nails.
    • They should be pretty good in year two for Rang.  Replacing most of the offensive production losing Dozier, Hayward and Rembert , but they're are skill kids in place ready for their shot.  I know I say this every year, but the o line should show improvement after two years in Rang and Kevin Day's weight program.  I still would favor West over Plow and OR come November.  The Rebs will have to grow up a bunch between now and then, and will probably take some lumps along the way with that schedule.  But I predict come playoff time they will be ready.   One of their coaches half joked to me that they could go 5-5 regular season and win the state championship.  Ha ha.
    • there will be a couple of teams, that could make some noise
    • Dyersburg may win back to back to back championships. They are going to be hands down the best 3A team. Plus their District/region/sectionals are not very good. They basically just have to make it to region out of a 5 team district that has a few decent teams. South Gibson will be okay but they graduate their best player and there is nobody in the region 7 or region 8 who is going to compete with them.
