The network of Tennessee sports writers from Memphis to Knoxville have spoken and  SP gets the gold. Reckon we could get a discount on some skillets as a consolation prize. I have always wanted one of those that are made specifically for making the cornbread sticks. Almost bought one at Crackerbarrel one time, but baby girl had to have the Bob Ross paint with water set.

Feller, Old Pirate ain’t seen a nary cornbread skillet, but theys way too many handy frying skillets. OP be more than happy to drop one off at the welcome center next to the big out house fer you on the way to the Big Fued. BTW, there ain’t a nary return on it! OP ain’t jest joking neither.  Old Pirate scrubbed the jock yesterday & hung it on the clothes line. As OP went to fetch it today, notice it continued a mite hard fer a long spell.  Dad Burnit, hopeful it got retrained to help Henry maintain fer a long spell! LOPAO YepReconSo

I honestly believe that the injury bug has put McKenzie as the favorite in this game. But that's just me.

All everyone has yap all season how the West is the Best, East is weak. Now you fellers attempting to play the “Poor Me” mess. OP says, let them drop or grow some. The Pirates will show up and do their share of earholing.

      Didn't misinterpret any thing. He was throwing our players under the bus saying they werent trying and then made a comment like Westview's jersey was in GC and Union City's head. My comment was that Westview has tons of talent especially with the transfers that have came in. Sure wasn't we choked out with the talent they had last year. I don't know if he is a South Gibson Fan or a Westview Fan but this is a message board and I for one am going to defend my school.

      Correct me if I'm wrong Guru, but I interpreted what you were saying as some Westview opponents having a mental block to overcome because of the name on the uniform.  Much like Duke or Kentucky in Men's college hoops. I do think you're wrong about Gibson Co. being that way. They are Duke's North Carolina. No fear there! Think Pioneer misinterpreted what you were saying and lashed out with the "transfer rhetoric." Anyway back to the present, I believe the parity in the district will be good this year, much like the days when Obion Co. battled those two in district.
