  2. Jada Hart, Jasmine Bailey and Kaitlyn Patterson the first two being PG's are all good guards and can handle ball pressure and are good players. Raven Wells will be a good post. There were games this summer where any one of the one's I mentioned were in double figures. Gibson County will control TO's much better this year and they will press more and get back to playing faster. AA is down across the board. I have been all over watching ball. Alcoa jumped to AAA and Jackson County moved down. to A. No telling who wins it this year. I agree Union City, Westview and Gibson County will be a dogfight and must see basketball. Poster insuated that Gibson County has a mental block against Westview. Well give me Maddie Gray and we line up last year and they wouldn't have won a game. Let's see how Westview does this year. Their starting five last year had three transfers in it. Rogers from Obion, Trevathon from Greenfield and Gray from South Fulton. Looks like they swung and missed with the girl from Florida this year so let's see how they do playing with kids from Westview. Gibson County has a really good 7th grade class this year.I have done learned you play with what you got and work them hard and develop them and see what happens. Just keep battling and see what happens. I like our team this year. Very athletic. Every year is the same with injuries and can be catistrophic to any. I watched GC all summer long. South Side and GC was very evenly matched and was a classic war. Hope all stays healthy.

  4. If you’re talking about when they lost to Corbin HS out of Kentucky(4A school in KY) in 2017, they lost by 1 point and Corbin went 14-2 that year in Kentucky so to say they got “taken behind the woodshed by a mediocre out of state team” is a bit of a stretch. You act like Alcoa never loses at all. They lose games every year, granted mostly to Maryville but other teams have beaten them in the regular season. Alcoa just turns into another animal in the playoffs. Winning is a learned skill and it’s an advantage that Alcoa has over everyone when the postseason rolls around
  5. Yesterday
  6. Bad news for legitimate 2A schools in the west.
  7. 52 Days until Kickoff with Alcoa. It's that time of the year when Tennessee Fans get pumped full of Bulls*** over expecting until reality hits them in the face. Stuff like the Nico B.S. is a prime reason I could care less if college football goes bankrupt. The prisoners are running the prison and they don't know what to do about it. 7-5 will be their best but 6-6 if they go lay down to someone like they do almost every year like Arkansas 19-14.
  8. Well a mediocre staff has won and beat some the quote on quote goats in high school coaching ranks in Tn . So I guess that makes guys like Wes Stone from South Pitt bad coaches then. Who has won serval state championships in his tenure as a head coach. 1A,2A,3A,4A,5A and 6A is all about numbers and depth not talent. Mediocre coaching staff don’t make in game adjustments on the fly without being able to think and strategize a plan of attack in a game of that magnitude! If you only what inner city coaches deal with like ( facilities, weight room, nutrition, making sure that you’re gonna come to school without being hurting and harmed here in the city of Memphis. It’s more than just about Football. It’s about life skills how to be a man having discipline. Learning how to fight through adversity, no matter what life throws at you.
  9. Moore and Cornersville have some of the better skill guys in the region but do they have any blockers? Both lost their best lineman and didn't have any depth last year.
  10. That game was one of the biggest upsets I can remember since watching Meigs play. Have to give credit where it was due. Pigeon Forge came to play that night. What happened on our end I'll never know.
  11. If Oneida offers TL the head coaching job at Oneida, he’d leave AC in a flash. Don’t kid yourself Misseltow. Being a DC at AC doesn’t trump being a head coach at a place he liked and had success at. If the situation ever presents itself, he’s gone from the firework show bonanza. But right now that doesn’t look like Oneida has TL in their plans. (But I have no idea why they would not)

Also AHCC & Kittering U. + Watch joe rogan and mel gibson's discussion about Methylene Blue. Could be Real, as I've seen first hand with a friend out west (stage 4 pancreatic cancer with Haelan951.com & and one other in Chattanooga that did these things and is still alive today beyond 20 years of his "1-6 months to live" with stage 4 intestinal cancer, oh & he strictly did a NO Sugar diet. 🤔
  13. Last week
  14. Frankly, this was an insult to MASE and SP. Top Ten Teams Division I Class 1A Sch. Rank 1. McKenzie (13-1) 8 2. MASE (13-1) 31 3. Union City (10-3) 1 4. Coalfield (12-2) 17 5. South Fulton (9-3) 7 6. Clay County (10-3) 11 7. South Pittsburg (12-3) 21 8. Oliver Springs (10-3) 16 9. Halls (West TN) (8-3) 20 10. Richland (9-4) 14
  15. I bet Sunbright would have made a different decision if they had known Hampton would be 1a.
  16. Memphis folks say them boys been cheating since the 80s lol
  17. Great Question. Those Sparta teams sure where fun to watch. They refused to get beat. I would love to hear more about the tourney when they went to some sort of elite invite team tourney in Arkansas, I believe. Basically the tourney director told them that he probably should not have invited them (Sparta) because they would not be able to play with the elite, but they either won it all or got close.
  18. Prayers for the PC community. Also sending a prayer up for our youth.
  19. BREAKING: Orange & Black Smoke Rises Over Wartrace – A New Homer Has Been Chosen Huge thanks to everyone who came out to the Iron Horse last night for the ceremonial passing of the nuclear codes to this account. As someone who’s been on the outside looking in for years, I’ve always marveled at the tradition—when that orange and black smoke rises from the chimney, signaling the selection of a new Homer. I never thought it would be me. I’ll try not to abuse this power… immediately. Now, onto business: Cascade Football – 2025 Offseason This offseason has looked more like the college transfer portal than a high school summer. Here’s a quick rundown of the new faces: QB1: Junior. 6’2”, 185 lbs. All the tools to be the best QB in the region—cannon arm, field vision, leadership… -and he was second in tackles on his team last year. I’m hoping they let him play safety on passing downs à la Dawson White (Moore Co. fans know). Kid is a problem on both sides of the ball. RB1: Also a junior. I stood next to him at a track meet last spring—three Oakland coaches introduced themselves and offered him a starting role on the spot… both ways—fullback and MLB. That’s the kind of pickup we’re working with here. Swiss Army Knife from Marshall Co.: He can play literally any position -Told me he’s ready to make noise in his senior campaign. I believe him. Baseball convert alert: Big, strong, fast. Now moonlighting as a linebacker. Immediate upgrade in size and athleticism. The Redheaded Revolution: We already had one angry senior redhead -Now we have three. Red #2: A cover corner with a 4.4 forty and a 275-pound bench. Legend has it he’s attended every school mentioned above and maybe a few others no one’s brave enough to list. Motor stays running. Attitude sold separately. Red #3 (a.k.a. “I.T.”): Big, strong, homeschooled, looks like he was built in a Tennessee linebacker lab. Some say “I.T.” stands for “Irish Tebow.” Others say it’s because he’s smart—like, real smart-Either way, he’s got redheaded rage and raw ability. Not a ton of experience yet, but he’s going to be on the field. A lot. there are other transfers and new faces I haven’t mentioned (some out of suspense, others because I’ve already written a novel). All in all, the energy around this team is different. The pipeline is open. The pieces are in place. There are athletes everywhere. Cascade 2025: It’s going to be loud!
  20. That should have read Brewster is the starting CB not QB. He was the backup QB at McMinn but will probably be the starting QB at Meigs
  21. Word is Rockvale star J. Watson is leaving and going to MTCS
  22. Might want to pump the brakes on the hype of the AC/Alcoa game. Both teams have great programs but this is still high school football. Anything can happen on any given Friday night. I’m sure both coaching staffs will remind their players of this.
  23. 😃 Lots of HS football fans on that list I'm in . my grand son will be freshman at GP next year. The East is open Life is good.
  24. WTH are you talking about? Can you not read?
