$750,000 Lawsuit Files Against Warren County School District
BDURHAM replied to BDURHAM's topic in Girls Basketball
The lawsuit requests a jury trial. Sable Winfree has extremely competent legal representation. FYI - her lawyer represented the Warren County school system for years, and I believe he knows what constitutes a reasonable lawsuit. -

Why the satellite weigh-ins? I was told last year by a very high ranking TNUSA board member that because it was a qualifier for the national duals team along with finger pointing and strong rumors with regards to kids not actually making scratch weight all 2024 weigh-ins would be on site. It appears as if silence tells the entire story!

After having more time to reflect, I think JP could be a solid dude for the job. Having run a legit middle school program at Blackman, I think it bodes well. I also think DCA is a far better job than ER and he has way more resources. I do like that a DCA guy is getting a chance to prove himself. Wish they had a Chattanooga game scheduled for 2024 season!

One half of the region is set with Coalfield and Wartburg coming out of the District 3 side. It’s still looking like it will be Oakdale and Greenback from District 4. Should be a fun region tournament!

Do you know where to find a District 14AAA Bracket?

I caught the very end of practice today. Drove over to watch the Pirate baseball team defeat Whitwell 12-7 this evening. Keep working. Keep punching. Stay humble. Go Pirates!!

20twentyfour Dobbins Bennett foozeball
EHSTrack06 replied to YellowSnowmen's topic in Class 5A & Class 6A
Problem with DB football goes beyond coaching. Like Waco said. Thr band is the main focus of their community and school. They have the resources to be a championship level team. Guarantee Ballard or Witten could have them nationally relevant at some point but everyone down to peewee would have to buy in and at DB we all know that would never happen. -
SS would be in the running for coach of the year if he did that in year one. I think highly of him but that is a tall task. I stand by my line

New Cumberland County Basketball Coach
imakebigputts replied to imakebigputts's topic in Boys Basketball
A guy from Alabama. Goodwin is his last name. The news article said he wants to run a "fun and fast" offense... shoot lots of threes. I heard his record is not good, but hopefully his style will fit with the talent we have -
We will finish the last year of a two year cycle in 2024-25. Classification will go to a four year cycle again I believe in 25-26. Nothing can be done about school closing and going with another school until reclassify.

I know their pool includes at least two current head coaches and at least three assistants who've been head coaches.

According to morgan county news you can get your first look at how his concord is going to look in a scrimmage with Wartburg Central and Cosby -

U hadnt been to the new one.

That used to coach at Sparta? Current assistant at Chattanooga State.

I agree with the Farragut and Bradley claim. Those will both be wins. Bearden like you say is depending on when you get them in comparison to when the wheels fall off. As far as West goes I’m 50-50. They have been able to reload so far so until they show me they haven’t I can’t count them out.

during the 2nd round of the playoffs last year against Milan, Gray partially tore his meniscus. He had a minor repair around Thanksgiving. Recovery time was minimal and he has been full force for baseball this season.

If Heritage moves down and Alcoa moves up the best thing for Heritage is to do what William Blount did when theystopped playing Maryville or meet certain defeat. Honestly can't see Alcoa not moving up the way the county is growing. Might be in the Mountaineers best interest to stay in 5A because none of those teams on their schedule are anything close to Alcoa.
