Didn't misinterpret any thing. He was throwing our players under the bus saying they werent trying and then made a comment like Westview's jersey was in GC and Union City's head. My comment was that Westview has tons of talent especially with the transfers that have came in. Sure wasn't we choked out with the talent they had last year. I don't know if he is a South Gibson Fan or a Westview Fan but this is a message board and I for one am going to defend my school.

I think he can have success but getting to state will be much more difficult having to go through all those good 3A programs. Will be interesting to see for sure

This coaching staff will do what’s best for the program & what’s best for the all the including the kids that are coming in. The transfers will leave here better due to the example they have as coaches here. Casino Jones being fired was the best thing to ever happen to these transfers.

Yes I agree, Coaching in Memphis seems like a much tougher job than most in the State! Hats off to these coaches from MASE, I think they do a great job!

Dekalb went 6-4 and didn’t make the playoffs for the first time since 2010. I wouldn’t say that a better than average year for us but I do agree with SC’s schedule not helping them any last year on a down year

That is probably the most important thing a coach can ask for is kids who WANT to play for you and have an open mind to learn what you are trying to teach!! Sounds like the kids are hungry for wins and want to compete. Season is approaching fast!!

I’m not really saying that I think Tennessee HS football is really all that good. I was just saying I didn’t really think that Corbin was a mediocre football team when Alcoa lost to them. Tennessee high school sports as a whole isn’t very good to be completely honest. They are good players who come from Tennessee in all sports but the overall quality of play and competition is par at best when you compare it to the rest of the country

Stuff like the Nico B.S. is a prime reason I could care less if college football goes bankrupt. If Oneida offers TL the head coaching job at Oneida, he’d leave AC in a flash. Don’t kid yourself Misseltow. Being a DC at AC doesn’t trump being a head coach at a place he liked and had success at. If the situation ever presents itself, he’s gone from the firework show bonanza. But right now that doesn’t look like Oneida has TL in their plans. (But I have no idea why they would not)

Great Question. Those Sparta teams sure where fun to watch. They refused to get beat. I would love to hear more about the tourney when they went to some sort of elite invite team tourney in Arkansas, I believe. Basically the tourney director told them that he probably should not have invited them (Sparta) because they would not be able to play with the elite, but they either won it all or got close.
