Rumormill says they are a much improved team from last year. Know after today I guess.2 points

"Rams" have a couple of basketball players on the team as well..one of them is a captain. As a matter of fact, I can't remember when we didn't have a BB player. Good athletes..I think it makes them tougher!!2 points

I think your line will be the difference, a lot of heart in their style of play.1 point

Yes. I was very happy with the offense and the defense made you guys earn everything. Great to see this young team play with a ton of heart. Told ya you guys would have to be able to throw the ball to beat us and look what happened in the 4th. Hats off to Baugus. He put it right on the money. Good to meet you too bro!!1 point

Actually doing Great Passy , I think every Maryville fan is after tonight ... because we who were actually there know that Maryville's Mistakes made this a lot closer than it could of been ... and those can be corrected pretty easily .1 point

Pirates in another beat down. Pretty good going into 3rd week. D line is hard to handle. We need to get up on the second level and block better on linebackers but our running backs block well. Raulston is a beast. Tipton is scary at times. QB isn't bad and isn't afraid to get extra yardage either1 point

That Sherrill man sounded like he ate the microphone tonight lol Pirates have some things to clean up this week and guys to get healthy. Perfect week to rest some before a big rival.1 point

Greeneville's offense puts up crazy numbers and gets all the attention. But their defense is nasty. Their front 7 is stout, and i don't see any team being able to run the ball consistently against them. And that is what wins gold balls.1 point

He has some stuff in his past that he would like to forget too. Like the time all the officials that called a Tyner/Sequatchie game got fired for a few games for calling it one way in Dunlap. (lol)1 point

I watched the film and the Stangs D smothered McKenzie run game and it didn't look like they had much of a passing game. You will definitely see a different O tonight and I think you will see a different D than we had last year. I think it'll be a dangerous good game Tigers 38 Stangs 281 point

I always liked that sort of thing. Taxpayers pay for everything to begin with, then they charge us to use it. Only in America.1 point

I hope all Boyd and SP fans take a second to look at our newly renovated stadium. It's one of the best!1 point

Cornersville will def come out hot. They have a bad taste in their mouths. But Eagleville is good and Cobb is VERY good. I still say 1 score game either way. Good luck to both sides. Best game around tonight. Safe travels folks.1 point

Thank you, RR! I figured that out last year and it saved me the longer walk. This should help a lot of people. Should be a fantastic game! I know it's not 'the most important' possible meeting between us this season, but it's gonna be awesome!!! This is my 3rd trip to your field. Absolutely, an amazing place to watch a game! Good luck to you guys! Praying for an exciting, injury free game!! See you guys in a few hours!!!!1 point

yes the band burgers are great also if u want to grab something at the game.. Weather looks perfect for the game 80 and sunny. I cant imagine a very big crowd tonight, with Oakland in town playing Maryville, but Stanton is worth the price of admission, he threw for @400 and ran for @200 on blount seem like last year.. Pregame at 7:00 hopefully my tech will be able to get the stream going tonight truthradio.tv if you are in Maryville you can take your headset into the Mhs game and listen on AM14701 point

I'll start by saying that I'm not all that impressed with my hometown team (OR) right now...pretty good defense but sluggish offense and kicking game, but I'm totally unimpressed by what I watched on TV last night. Central at this point isn't nearly as good as I expected and if Fulton is the #1 team in 5A, then it's a very weak division.1 point

One of the best Packer moments was the time they had Greenback on TV a few years ago. He found an old program left behind from the year before and proceeded with information from it all during the game until someone came to the press box and got him straightened out. A real play by play man would have had that roster the day before the game and known each player like one of his own kids. It's much better for him to show up in everyone's living room on Thursday evening sounding like the village idiot.1 point

There are two types of people in this world: creators and criticizers. Packer is a creator. He has been bringing us high-quality high school football broadcasts for a decade now. And the old fuddy duddies who always have to let it be known that they dont like him because they dont have a sense of humor are criticizers.1 point

Will be there haven't been to a game at FCS in a long time. And I agree about the punishment. The past is just that the past. Make a point now and make it clear that this will be the way it is going forward. I skip around (but usually either Lebanon or TC) and watch games from all over the area. And I too get shocked from time to time at the crowds that show up for some of these games. Even on the bad teams you think at least the parents/guardians would show up. But I am dead serious Lebanon played Antioch last year and Antioch had give or take 6-8 people in the stands. Lavergne wasn't much better. It just boggles my mind that a team with 30-40 players plus cheerleaders etc. only has a handful of people show up for a game 30 minutes away. I was talking to somebody about that today about how to get more interest and support from the kids at school. There gotta be ways to do it. Incentives the school can give students for showing up.1 point

I disagree. They've ran out of ideas and are putting our more and more remakes and "reboots". I've been going the independent and foreign film route lately.1 point
