They could take a page from the Wilson County Board, who has pretty much new stuff at every high school campus in that county. Instead of catering to just one place who has zero history like what was done in Sumner.

I hate that we gotta be "that" team that gets fake posts on here that downplay our opponents and give them more reason to hate on the G. Wish that burden could go to any other team. I'd be willing to bet those type of posts come from either a H-Ville, Beech, or SC supporter, not a true Green Wave fan IMO. Guess it's good to know we are still on people's mind, though.

Have y'all noticed that not a lot of X's & O's gets mentioned anymore... It's mostly about which schools (ahem... Alcoa/Maryville) are out-recruiting the other schools, about the T$$AA, bad coaches, bad parents, etc. Of course all those things have their place and are part of the entirety of HS football, but I was really hoping there might be some actual football talk. And before someone says it, I have no problem with Alcoa & Maryville, maybe they "recruit" maybe they don't, that was just used as an example of what passes for football talk nowadays. All that being said, let me say that it's finally here, another season, so get out there and support your team.

Just as sure as them new pirates are looking for a quality education as well lol. We all know the score. As long as it’s legal who cares. Everyone has the same rule book. I’m a firm believer as long as the rules are followed a parent should be able to send their kid anywhere they choose if they’re willing to take on the responsibility of getting them there. I honestly don’t see any issues with it.

No, this is not a real post. Every coach Gallatin had since Coach Barron from the 1960's has been a winner until the last two. We can all try and say it was this or that as to why they didn't win. Bottom line is, they didn't win at a place that won a LOT more than lost up till 2012 staff changes. There was a couple decent years from the last two staffs, but overall were very underwhelming. New sheriff in town now!! Let's allow him some time to build it how he sees fit.

The difference between Mitchell or Fairley and Collierville or Germantown is about like comparing Lake County or West Carroll to Henry County or Haywood. Its the same sport sure but entirely different leagues. I expect Riverside to keep it close but ultimately lose by 2 or 3 scores. Same thing I expect will happen to Union City honestly

A basketball shot clock is very different than a football play clock. A play clock in football is 100% necessary because the game clock runs but the ball isn't live so the team on defense can not do anything to force the team on offense to snap the ball. Totally the opposite of basketball where the game clocks runs and the ball is live so the team on defense can force action out of the offense.

It took Gallatin years to get our outdated visitor side addressed, this could have easily been us! This is lack of proper maintenance to maintain the structures that exist within the county. Compare Liberty Creek and the expense to the lack of at the older schools. Just glad nobody was hurt!!

Well maybe you better tell coach to play your main starting backs next time in your jamboree, you made same statement about MJ preserving same backs in the loss to Ensworth , final score is what it is and yes Ensworth is top notch like CPA whom the Jackets scrimmaged earlier. Bottom line Jamborees are just that:scrimmages . I’m sure Rossview was excited with outcome as was E.R. over Hville . You know jamborees don’t mean squat . I know one thing for some reason you love commenting any thing negative about Springfield (welcome to the club I’ve been accused of it recently on the closing of SMS) for one think I think it will be a tough year for the Jackets, they have already lost one of the top players on the team for the season in a off season injury and yes he is a difference maker on our team. This is all in fun so if you say it about MJ preserving their players during a scrimmage making your offense not at full strength because your backs didn’t get many carries, you said about your team and someone can say it about ours. I wasn’t at the jamboree but I can assure you it’s the truth from those who made those statements they’re not contradicting like you. just a suggestion..but instead of announcing one person per day and us having to do the math on whos facing who maybe you could announce the matchups instead each day? you could still do cool graphics like this though. these are neat
