Adamsville made some early mistakes and handed LC great field position, which they turned into a 20-0 advantage. Once the Cardinals got a handle on the ball, they sounded unstoppable...getting big chunks on the ground, and occasionally through the air. Big play with Adamsville inside the ten, LC pick six to end the half...might be enough to secure the win, but their D has to stop 17 on the ground or might get tight before it's over. Score at the half 32-14, but a much better game than the score.

Honestly guys I agree. I think the defense is better...the passing game is way better than 19. There are alot more weapons out there nobody has realized. I think you will be very surprised tomorrow night but i could be wrong i have before. But i honestly believe you will need a little hot sauce to help the flavor of the crow lol. At the administrators meeting this week, the TSSAA announced that all enrollment numbers are in and they are waiting for the state to verify those numbers. That should take a few days to get that done. As soon as they are verified the numbers will be released along with the classification breakdowns. District alignments will soon follow after that so all schools can look and see if the want to appeal, or move up, etc.

There will always be schools that teeter on the breaking points of enrollment. I'd be more leery of enrollment numbers if there were a "hard set" number instead of dividing classes equally.

I mentioned before the 1989 Whites Creek team coached by Richard Coure. That team advanced to the 3A semifinals before losing to eventual champion Gallatin. That remains one of the greatest Metro teams of all time. I found the results from that season, and it's even more incredible than I remember. Whites Creek allowed 25 total points in the regular season that year. Points allowed by game: 3,6,0,7,0,6,3,0,0,0. Possibly, they allowed 1 touchdown the entire regular season. One of the greatest teams I ever saw in person. Points-wise MBA is that last "3" in the sequence which had to have been set up by a turnover because pretty sure the team never crossed midfield and finished with negative yards gained.

I think the top 3 in this poll would make for some great games. But I think there is a definite gap after that. McKenzie would lose soundly to Haywood.

I agree that mistakes kept the Panthers from having a chance to win. This game should have come down to the wire. Think the Mustangs would still have pulled it out because they were stronger in the 4th qt. Sure hope we get a rematch.
