Dang I for sure wasn't trying to start a fight lol, I don't know that region 2 A is necessarily down ,but south pitt is like alcoa move up lol, I mean a 1A school with 76 players, that come from all over 3 states and surrounding counties...should win.

I picked MBA last week, however I think "Marty Magic" runs out this week against a much more competent McCallie offense. I think KC puts up a good fight but Baylor gets the W and sets up the game most of us want.

Same one they always do. Ultra balanced running and passing with lots of formations. Can line up 5 wide one play. Could be in a Maryland I the very next. Could have a 10-play drive with 10 straight runs. Or could throw every down. Kinda just depends on what matchup the defense is presenting.

Mccallie Vs MBA- Mccallie won earlier this season 35-0. Mccallie is too physical and has too many weapons. I will be surprised if there isn’t a running clock in the 3rd quarter. Mccallie wins 42-7. Baylor vs Knox Catholic. This is another rematch of a mercy rule game that Baylor won 42-0 three weeks ago. Knox Catholic did not play 5 or 6 of their starters that game. Catholic went toe to toe with Mccallie and just beat a very good MUS team. This one will be closer than last time but Baylor still pulls out the victory. Baylor wins 35-24.

Sounds to me that the state should close the school and bus the kids to South Gibson County.

Nothing will change from the first game except we had a defense starter that was out for that game and he is a wild man who loves to hit. Dresden 35 to Onion City 21 Union City struggled to stop Dresden all night we only punted 1 time and gave you a short field on a not so smart toss back that caused a fumble. Two many weapons for Dresden with a mean and big o line.

After keeping up with both teams and watching a few games of each, I would have to give UC the edge in the rematch. #5 Arnold was built for games like this. I’d give him at least 20 touches right up the gut then hit them with #7 Jones on the edge.

Most of our penalties were well earned. It’s been a problem for about 3 years. This is a special team if they can eliminate the penalties.

Yep. Derek is a great guy, and there’s a reason all the coaches that had been there longer than him all vouched for him and said he should be head coach. No doubt that he’s the right guy for the job. He’s Maryville through and through. And I have full faith he’s gonna get them back to competing for championships. Two subpar years, shouldn’t overshadow the fact that he’s already won 2 gold balls. No matter who replaced GQ, no one will ever be able to repeat what he did. He was the best high school coach in the country in my opinion. And Ellis and Gaylor were two of the best right under him. Better days are ahead I think.

I like the playoffs as is. Top 4 each region. Every region is represented equally as far as teams and I understand that not all regions are created equally, but that's just the way the cookie crumbles in this simple format. Sure, a better school gets left out, but if you're not top 4 in your region you shouldn't be in it anyways. Any type of wildcard format would lead to schools scheduling softer schedules. I think with this simple format it allows for better out of region games across all classifications. And you don't hamper schools that are located in remote areas that have difficulty finding teams to schedule out of their area. Just my thoughts. Others think differently and that's ok.

Region 6 is terrible outside Mckenzie. Mckenzie has played an easy schedule outside Dresden and Huntingdon.

cornersville seemed to give mckenzie a good and eagleville knocked off the 2 seed from that region. i also think fayetteville is a solid win despite the down year. franklin county was also a big team with athletes and still couldn’t compete with mc

Booger saw what Booger thinkin one of the most botch calls in 2nd qtr of that BA-McCallie contest last evenin by a group of refs that Booger saw in a very very long time on a kickoff fare call... and that Ted Turner School was the grand benefactor.... Booger just sayin

Booger got to spend time on deck and lay witness to some of the contest between BA and McCallie last evnin.....Booger can without question opine that BA does indeed have issues....and can now indeed agree some changes need to be made.... ....not sure of all the changes that are required....if it was Boogers to make....Booger does nose the very first one thats made.. ..BA has a group of fans...assumed to be parents.....that as of this morning are gone/banned/kicked to the curb and not allowed back on BA property or any where near a BA event.....and if those individuals Booger laid witness to are parents of some of those BA players....tho maybe unfortunate for that player...their parent can choose to remove and take their child with them..... .....when a educatin institution and/or its President, AD, HC and coachin staff allows a fan/parent or group of fans/parents approach its staff at any time yellin and runnin their sucks at its staff durin an event like Booger laid witness last evenin....THEY GONE.....actually a institution should allow that anywhere.....THEY GONE ....BA had numerous fans/Parents jackin up the coachin staff durin the contest as those coaches sat inside the coaches/press box on BA's side....and Booger assumin that wasnt the first time these radical out of control parents have ran their sucks like that...its was apparently obvious they are very well practiced at it... ....Booger was embarresed for the BA fans and parents and anyone else who was sittin and standin anywhere near that mess...as one visitin coach standin by Booger who were there to eyeball a couple players said....."who wants that mess in your stands on saturdays".....who wants that mess in your stands on Friday nights....BA's President, AD coachin staff and fans apparently do not sure if that coachin staff needs to go or not...thinkin most of that staff are just fine for BA....but if an instutution has an AD and President who doesnt care and/or doesnt have the cahonas to deal with parents like that....AD and President Gone.... those coaches in that box were either intimidated or had incredible restraint.....Booger were one of them coaches......Booger probably out of a coachin job today and those fans/parents lips ant flappin no more... .....ant a player/student in the country worth keepin around when that player/student got a parent/parents like those Booger laid witness to last evenin........those parents are lookin for new school colors to wear today.... This is as down as region 2 has been in a very long time top to bottom. Region 1 as well both 1A and 2A. Coalfield is a good team but no where near what they have been in recent years. Coalfield, York and Hampton are all clearly the better teams but I’m not sold they’re great teams. Semifinals will expose quad 1 in both classifications in my opinion.
