True,we can beat a dead horse for six more months .Only a few teams will end the season with a win and it's always hard on the players and really hard for those playing their final game.Maybe even harder for some of the parents and yes I've been there.For those senior players, it's part of growing up and finding out life doesn't always give us what we want.In the end,it's just really the start for most of these young guys and they have many more years to do so many things that will make a high school football game very small in the big picture of their lives.I can tell you right now that football while I still loved it as a player was awesome and still tell storys about this or that game .However,when I look back now and have watched my own kids come into the world and grow up, football isn't close to my top ten in life.AC and Greeneville have both had great years and nothing will ever take that away,but so many more things will top this year as you players go forward.Best of luck to the seniors on both teams when this school year is over.

Huntingdon is the only team to slow them down and no disrespect but I just don't think LC defense can do the same. Just my opinion and I've been weighing this one out all week

Anyone that gets on here and says that either team is going to blow the other team out in my opinion is crazy! There is a reason that this is the last two teams standing in the East!!!!!!! They are the best of the rest. This should be a great game. And if either team is overlooking the other they deserve to loose. Good luck to Greenback I hop you have two more wins in you. If you dont and you loose this game Friday night lose it with class and leave everything on the field and let them know they have played the hardest game they will ever play.

I brought up your TT Flowers team to show that just because you might have the best players, it doesnt mean you are the best TEAM. Playing for a fallen teammate will be very tough for any team to overcome (reference Columbia Central playing for Dylan winning state). Remember, Goodpasture High School once had Drew Maddux and Ron Mercer on the same team and never won a title....

I said Grace Christian. Loudon... really? You think Loudon was good? Let's put this in perspective. Loudon gave up over 50 points to Marion County and 600 yards rushing. Loudon barely squeaked by a Signal Mtn team that Whitwell beat by 40 plus points. Sorry.. but Loudon wasn't better than Whitwell. Like I said. Grace Christian, Coalfield, and Kings were the only teams you played better than Whitwell.

He should have about 30 D-1 offers then.

In the Coach T strength/success rankings Cville has beat 6 teams in the top 20 , LC has beat 2 and lost to 1(Dresden) so I really don't think LC's competition has been better than Cville's

What y'all are not seeing here is the fact that Cornersville has been getting run down by people for a long time. Now they are the real deal and people still think Cornersville is the team that everyone tries to schedule for homecoming or senior night. So if CB10, Sum1uno, Chad02,myself or anyone else gets a little defensive about Cornersville football, you'll just have to get over it Bass. This ain't the Cornersville of old.

But your not picking them to win either. Riding the fence is what your doing but that’s s ok. I gave my opinion and you have yours. Just hard to decipher who exactly you pull for sometimes. I completely agree that’s it’s going to be a good game but you knock anyone who favors a SP victory. I’m not predicting a 35 nor 21 point victory here. 7 or more in SP favor.

William Blount and Heritage should fold their football programs. Then, Blount County Schools needs to make Everett High School a magnet school with football. Only let enough students in to be 2A, that way you don't mess with Greenback and you avoid Alcoa. Then, since WB and Heritage don't have football, their players play for Everett. I call it the Firebird plan.

Exciting time of the year for Marshall County though. My Alma Mater down on the south end of the county is in its first semifinal in school history in 1A on the western side of the bracket. They took down Huntingdon (a team that most considered to be the hands down favorite in 1A) last Friday night. Sure wish I could be in two places at once!

Well I can honestly say I called this matchup back in August. Greeneville won last night but I must give Anderson Co some credit to play the way they did in what I know personally is one of the toughest environments in Tennessee High school football. Here’s what I know after seeing both these teams last year. Greeneville needs to get off to a lot better start than they did vs AC. Greene Devils I will warn you, IF Liggit plays, this offense Marshall County has is very potent. Wallace can run and throw and Liggit is a LOAD and a much better runner than any back you’ve seen all year. The big concern for Marshall County was could they replace those great WRs they had last year, Howard and Crutcher I think were their names and obviously they have. On Defense they are huge. One guy in particular was number 9, I think his name was McClean. He will remind you of your own DE/OLB, Big fast and extremely physical. This will be no blowout on either side, however my early advantage goes to the Devils, that drive either way is NO JOKE, trust me I made them both last year.

The talent that Tyner puts out every year they should go to cookeville every year.
