I’m not doubting you, but how can you be sure? Have you watched every team in the state and or seen how each team matched up? Not trying to be a jerk here, but ain’t nobody on this board that can be 100% sure.

In my opinion it would be between Haywood, Tullahoma, or PC. This Greeneville team in my opinion is better than the Betsy team that won State last year just with how diverse and fast they are and no real weakness. How much has the West improved from last years 4TD loss in the championship game is the bigger question fans from the East want to know? I believe Greeneville would be at least a 2-3 TD Favorite against any team from the West and was the 2nd best team last year in 4a losing to Betsy at Betsy by a FG. Both of these programs have pushed each other over the last 10 years to become and maintain the level of success they have had, it doesn't hurt that they have been Rivals since 1924 and in the same conference the past 5 years

Not the main reason I’m stepping away, i have a stronger passion than radio that has been calling my name since I graduated high school, and this past summer I dove into an opportunity to chase a dream and enrolled as a 26 yr old college Freshman, and that dream is very obtainable but unfortunately to accomplish that dream I need my Friday nights back, I will still pay attention on here and will still go to some games, not just TC games. Me and my wife are also looking forward to starting a family(lord willing). To anyone else out there on these boards, it’s never to late to chase you dream and every dream is worth chasing! I’ll still be on here frequently for the rest of the season, and would appreciate any prayers to help me along the way. Never goodbyes always see you laters

Very true. I just always thought it was funny that if a student at WHS got caught with marijuana he would be expelled and immediately sent to alternative school but a kid at TCHS only has to miss 7 football games and he's fine lol

Same old show is EHS winning the last 2 titles. This year its Greenevilles to lose. I think of we make it we can give Greeneville a better game than the first one but either way the true title game will be round 3 if Greeneville and EHS both make it.

I would. This group of seniors smoked TC 44-0 in Middle School. 31 points did not surprise me at all. Honestly next year will be 5 years in a row

I've known the Pace family for a long time. Those boys were some of the toughest kids I've known - like steel ball bearings wrapped in rubber. That kid takes hits and keeps running like it's no one's business. He is an amazing back and I'd love for him to have more carries, but I think they try to balance that with his defensive responsibilities. He's a really good linebacker, too.

While I would never overlook the Oak Ridge Wildcats, I think McMinn has definitely improved as the season has progressed also they are solid and experienced at QB and they are playing at home - for these reasons I think that may be enough to give them the edge in this one. Then again the last time these 2 played in the playoffs it was an upset nobody saw coming - so who knows. Two great programs who are represented well on CoachT. Praying for a safe and competitive game for both teams. IMO this is one of the most interesting matchups this week.

What is this petition? I have not heard anything about it Every program has its bumps in the road and obnoxious and intimidating fans. I do feel like there needs to be a more forceful presence at the fence at games. Escort a few of these men out of the stadium and that will set the tone. When players see adults can get by acting like fools, they follow.

The thread seemed lonely and a bit off topic. So here are some fun numbers for the MAVS and Eagles. Seymour is 6 Wins and 3 Losses and has scored 253 points in 9 games for a 28.1 points per game. In 9 games they have given up 245 points for a 27.2 average per game. The MAVS 5 Wins and 5 Losses in 10 games have scored 307 points for a 30.7 points per game. On defense the Mavs have given up 241 points for a 24.1 average per game. Now let’s remove the outliers Greeneville and Elizabethton. Seymour is now 6 W and 1 L. They have scored 238 points in 7 games for a 34 point average while giving up 123 points for a 17.6 average per game. Now let’s remove the Mav’s Betsy game. The Mavs are now 5-4 and have scored 300 points for a 33.4 average while defensively you have given up 214 points for a 23.7 points per game. Seymour’s opponents have won 45 games while losing 42 games. Mav’s opponents have won 66 (very impressive!) while losing just 39. Remember you have a 10 game schedule verses their 9 game schedule. Let’s remove the outlier teams. Seymour 7 opponents have won 27 games while losing 41 games. The Mav’s 9 opponents have 58 wins as opposed to 38 losses. The Mavs have literally played one of the top 10 schedules in the state regardless of classification. I always liked what Mark Twain use to say, “ There are 3 types of liars. People like you and me, then politicians and the worse liars of all…. STATISTICS!”

I don’t know why the past is being brought up, because it has nothing to do with this season. But to clarify, MC was down 27-0 at halftime in the second round of the playoffs last year. I am not sure what happened in MCs locker room; but, I assume some type of fight…after about 40 minutes the game announcer came over the PA and warned both teams and their fans that there would be no further issues or the game will be halted! The game resumed and finished without further incident There were no Tullahoma players involved. I enjoy debating about which team will win and why….While I believe MC is a good team, I believe HC’s passing attack will be to much for MC.

Great grandson, there’s an article that’s on Facebook on that If You Grew Up in Springfield that was posted on October 22 about him.

None of the Tullahoma players were involved. Marshall County was fighting among their own team in the visitor locker room at halftime. I've seen teams fight each other several times but to fight your own team at halftime because you are losing the game. The coaches didn't have control of their team and should have just got on the bus after the locker room fight and went home. I wouldn't schedule them if they weren't region opponents. Just my 2 cents worth.

I can answer the first question. We have a few idiots over here. So….we lose one game and we want to fire the coach and replace him with a freshman coach. Are you being for real??? Keep it up and you people are gonna regret it when you get what you think you want. I was born a Yellow Jacket and I will be a Yellow Jacket till they plant me. And for my part, if you want to quit following TC, hit the bricks.

Friday night broke them!

Not only were the reactions from the players scary but the reactions on this board were just as bad. How many times this season did a TC poster mention anything relatively close to the crap that has been said since TC's loss Friday night - other than @ghostofthepast2021? Ghost was condemned all season for saying the exact same things all of you waited until Saturday to say. I want everyone on this board to acknowledge how insane it is that after TC loses one game to Watertown they immediately gave up all hope for the next decade and gravitated all of their attention to the "sweat bees" of 2032. It was obvious that everyone wearing yellow Friday night was very hurt and that it will be tough for TC to recover. From the players, to the community, everyone took that loss to heart, and if the team does not find something within the next 3 days - this season will be over.

Because you were wasted and I did not want to spend the night in jail over something as meaningless as you. Did you forget that a majority of the posters on this board from TC and H20 are old enough to remember when you "played" hs sports and wise enough to know that you were not good at any. I would watch what you say towards Tyner this week. Everyone from around here knows that you are harmless. They probably do not.

Agreed. I read something where this Mitchell team has some young guys playing in key spots so that could help them in the long term, and might make them a team to watch out for in the long run. Stangs should take care of business in this one

It happened, according to one of the game officials. The same player had done it a couple of times earlier in the game, and the Farragut coaches called it to the official's attention. The kid went to the well one time too often and got caught on the field goal attempt.

All great points and true. We’ve definitely experienced the lack of depth this year in OR that Clinton is usually accustomed to having, so I definitely understand your pain. It’s not a good feeling haha. I commend you for always sticking by them through the thick and thin.

This is no knock on jackson or the Johnson kid but #7 is the best back on that team that kid is a stud he should get the ball 20 plus times a game.

Let me pose this question to you, say the tables were reversed, if carrol couldn't run, and he had half your yards, do you still think meigs would have been dominant? I have given meigs all the praise I can, they are a great team, better than I thought really, but I would say that the score would have probably been reversed or maybe a 2 score game if tae could run and carrol not. Tae being in the game still is of no meaning because it is easy to fly to the ball when you know that their is no threat by the qb. Injuries happen as well but the small sample size before that indicates that meigs was possibly gonna be on their heels trying to defend both. In my opinion the team panicked when he went down as evidence by all the penalties. Mc did play bait, but I can tell you that we played the best we have ever played if that's what makes you feel good. It is the coaches responsibility to have someone else ready in the weeks moving forward and it is also their responsibility that they are in this position with this 1920 offense when your best player gets injured. I have said all year that it is hard to run this offense when you play a good team. H20 knows how valuable our qb is. We gave them a mild scare last year for a bit. One of the meigs posters was talking about hammering rockwood in the regular season and when swafford went down they beat yall in the playoffs. Same scenario imo.

I'll just say this..... DB got 2 forefit wins last year due to COVID and one was a playoff win. Where was the outcry then? Theyre just mad they finished 4th, but its their own fault, take care of business against Jeff Co and theyre at home this week.
