The real point was I didn’t say anything and I’m typically on your side. This time I was just eating some popcorn and watching and you wanted to drag me in to some little fit you decided to throw across several threads. It’s ok though, you’ll be in hibernation Saturday.2 points

Brayden Palmer won the Clarion Open. He beat High Schooler Marcus Blaze 6-4. Blaze beat Ramos in OT. Blaze scramble to beat Ramos https://x.com/flowrestling/status/1721321813060251958?s=61&t=paGH5R7muLfmHdqAmN_ITA2 points

You have to fire up Jobu's blunt, toking it through his nostrils, then french inhale it. I heard once you do this, the spirit of Jobu resides within you. Then, and only then, can the incantations be chanted. If you start chanting the incantations before following this strict process, well, then you're just gonna look and sound foolish.2 points

Lol. I always enjoy getting on the refs. Bradley earned it by being undefeated this year. Visitors have to overcome some home cooking sometimes. T27 is right, they come from elsewhere, but don’t let the truth get in the way you of a good conspiracy! IMO the refs in the playoffs are usually good enough to not get noticed. Occasionally, there is a group that looks overmatched, but not often. I bet I’m on them half the game Friday!1 point

Yeah I was just naming kids from the 2018 team. I mean, I can’t think of a year in the last 10 years when they didn’t at least have one kid offered a division 1 scholarship. Iron sharpens iron, and when you have a team that consistently produces half a dozen kids a year going on to play at the next level whether that’s NAIA, Div 2, D1AA, D1, there’s only about a dozen other public school programs in the state that produce that type of talent year in and year out. Except they’re not playing non region games against metro schools that are on the verge of getting rid of their program, which is probably why they’re playing for a gold ball every 2-3 years and MJ is not.1 point

Same guy who two posts ago types “are region” instead of “our region” and also thinks his team has only had 4-5 D1 players the past 20 years when they’ve had that many since 2020 thinks he’s more intelligent than someone else. What a site this is1 point

May be the only 1 seed in the state in any class who feels as if they’ve accomplished something for beating a 4 seed. you’re a clown.1 point

Mav after watching some film on you guys this is a different team than what we watched earlier in the year.I have a lot of respect for you guys and our offensive front better play better this week or we will be getting ready for basketball season.1 point
-
There is some truth to that. In the past years I have seen the Mavs play much better away. There the thing of being overconfident know you are playing at home. We need to make sure the Mavs realize home or away they have to win this game really serious. Mavs need to understand too Betsy plays better away games They probably feed energy off that and that means the Mavs better be ready!1 point

I'm glad some of y'all are confident. I remember a similar situation that happened to Moore Co in 1998. They had beaten Huntland by 3 scores in the regular season. Murphy Fair had been on a Nashville radio show that week and had mentioned that Moore was his pick to go all the way. Huntland ended up winning that '98 2nd round contest by 8 points I believe. Moral of the story is just don't be over confident since you've already beat em once. It's hard to beat a team twice in one season. They have improved in my opinion. Moore Co just needs to focus and take care of the business at hand. I think MC wins but I believe the starters play all 4 quarters for both squads.1 point

No offense to Mase but I have seen a couple of there games they look sloppy and disorganized. With the athletes they have you can get by with that against lesser opponents but not sure you can get by with that against a team like Union City. Union City 35 Mase 181 point

I think the Tomcats win this game easily but Millington proved Friday night that they are no pushover. Keep shocking the world Millington!1 point

Kingston should be able to run, but will need a little bit of a passing game to keep their LBs honest…Pressure the QB and limit their big plays…1 point

I told my Alcoa buddy at work he can relax now. Alcoa won't come close to losing another game.1 point

I didn't realize grown "adults" could enjoy waiting on watching a high school team fail so much. MJGB, you have seemed to be very realistic about your team on here for the last couple years. I can't find any threads where you thought they would be the State Champ. They are a good team, playing a very good team next Friday night. Good luck to the Golden Bears.1 point

Giles wins by a couple TDs. #4 for Giles will be the best player on the field.1 point

Thing is they’re not a good team. They have some good looking athletes but they don’t play as a team. It’s an all about me team.1 point

There will be practice next week for EHS Football team during fall break. Practice will be Monday through Thursday, 8-11. There will be a JV Game Home Monday at 6:00 Oct 9th. Players are expected to be here!! Please communicate!!! So that answers your question WaCoJaCo. You can practice as many days as you want and DB coaches are lazy.1 point

Turtle I thought this team would beat you. Great finish do it again eliminate Alcoa.1 point

Their kicker consistently puts the ball in the end zone. Starting field position can play a part in this game too.1 point

Most of the people close to the program thought they had everything to be good, the QB came out last year to play, he’s a senior this year and he has turned into a great player, with some really good receivers to throw to, the senior RB broke both legs has a sophomore and is having a good year, the junior RB is a stud, the new coaching staff has done a great job. I think everyone in the east is trying to get to the semifinals and just give Alcoa a good game.1 point

Go back to your factory job and trailer. You are too stupid to have a conversation on this forum. I am surprised your food stamp phone had enough minutes on it to post here. What joke. Again, I would love to meet you in person. You forgot that part. You name the time and place.1 point

Just an educated guess but with Mrs. McQueen and the folks at Hillsboro CofC being in charge of the checkbook/decisions you will see David Lipscomb High School go back to their roots and try to win with the lifers and a few other kids mixed in. I would be shocked if they try to become one of the top programs in the country.1 point

I think he is just stating that Prep had better athletes on the field that Whitwell. Same goes for Prep against us last night. They were far more athletic and had better speed. The difference comes from coaching and team discipline/ camaraderie which Prep did not have at all1 point

Barney, my wifey is a former Unicoi County cheerleader class of 74. She almost did a flip at 50 something seconds. She almost had a heart attack at 13 seconds. She looked at me and said why can’t my blue Devils just lose like your Toppers. This all took place after we got back from the GHS/Fulton game. On to ETSU this late AM.1 point
