Yeah summer ball is really fun, but a lot of coaches are trying to play several kids to get much needed reps that they are not accustomed to. I would imagine Gibson County will have lots of players playing to get much needed reps. Want to win games but got to get experience as well and the rotation will be much deeper. I will be at MTSU, UTM Bethel and others. MTSU is the one I really look forward to.

Maryville has Alcoa on the schedule at the right time of the season which helped last year instead of at the first of the year not knowing much. West will be hard pressed to repeat this year but next will be a different story.

Why the satellite weigh-ins? I was told last year by a very high ranking TNUSA board member that because it was a qualifier for the national duals team along with finger pointing and strong rumors with regards to kids not actually making scratch weight all 2024 weigh-ins would be on site. One half of the region is set with Coalfield and Wartburg coming out of the District 3 side. It’s still looking like it will be Oakdale and Greenback from District 4. Should be a fun region tournament!

Problem with DB football goes beyond coaching. Like Waco said. Thr band is the main focus of their community and school. They have the resources to be a championship level team. Guarantee Ballard or Witten could have them nationally relevant at some point but everyone down to peewee would have to buy in and at DB we all know that would never happen.

SS would be in the running for coach of the year if he did that in year one. I think highly of him but that is a tall task. I stand by my line
