If your school win's, then kid's want to come there and play, especially if there team has about 50 or less fan's to come watch a game. I've seen some team's come to SP that it didn't look like there was anybody over in the visitor's stand's. Seriously, what kid want's to play for a school that has no backing? I don't blame them for wanting to leave. All I have heard this year is about GB and SP, well. they both win and kid's want to go there. Our coaches can't help it if they want to come. I am sure all coach's would not turn down a good player that want's to come to there school the legal way.

All this bashing is crazy!!! Teams can only put 11 players on the field at one time. If coaches can go out and find good players that want to come play for them then that's great. A coach is paid to make his team be the best they can be and win legally. Any coach or fan that says they only want hometown boys and wouldn't take a great player from another school is full of ####. It all bulls down to us other teams being jealous that your team got them and you might beat us now. Every school probably has a kid playing for them that didn't grow up in that town. Its not the kids fault if hes not as good as the other kid at your school. Let them be young men and let them play ball!!!!

Funny how nobody has ever mentioned watertown being dirty until they go to westy. It is a known FACT that westy is dirty and you will get screwed by the referees every time you go there. We never have a problem with anyone until we go there.

HeII of a game by the defense, again. Offense had a few too many boneheaded drive killing penalties, but they did their part by cashing in on 3 Germantown turnovers with points. Good win HC.

Great effort by EV. Made some good adjustments at halftime to slow LC down to stay in the game. LC out gained EV by nearly 200 total yds while rushing for 392 with 20 1st downs. EV threw the ball well completing 13 passes for 205 with 3 TDs and 2 INTS. LC best DB did not play, but should be back after the bye week (which I wouldn’t have mentioned if LC would have lost). Good luck the rest of the way.

Westmoreland crossed the 50 yard line I think 4 times, 3 assisted by penalties. So yeah, not really a close game. I don’t know who said what to who but the way it looked was the coach was pissed about being scored on late which is something I don’t understand. I know a Westmoreland player got ejected for punching a Watertown player in the face, and then the coach tried to start a fight and had to be held back by his other coaches and the police. So yeah... I don’t think anyone from Westmoreland should be calling anyone thugs based on their behavior tonight and considering their history.

No one this year will stop that offense. They are that good.

It's Football Friday and there are 3 big games that could have a big impact on the D2 playoffs. USJ starts a stretch of 3 tough games. USJ needs to win 2 of the 3 to get a bye in the 1st round of playoff (giving USJ the win against CA at the end of season). That is a huge factor for the Bruins since we would have played 10 straight weeks in the regular season. On paper, NC will be the toughest opponent of the year. The Bruins should be successful if they can stuff the run and force NC to throw the ball. The Bruins also need to be balanced on the the offensive side of the football. Complete passes to keep moving the chains and running the ball to carry out long clock draining drives. Really need to wear down the Eagles front 4. I think it will be a lower scoring game and the Bruins win 24-14. TCA host TRA in an important game for the Lions. With only 1 district win and 4 tough games remaining, this is almost a must win. I believe Davis will have a very productive game and TRA will have a couple of long clock draining drives. These drives will keep the game close but I think TCA wins out with a couple of scores in the 4th quarter to win by 14. JC welcomes Columbia Academy to Jackson for a interesting contest. JC offense has been very good as a whole this year. They are coming off a tough loss against Fayette Acad. Col Acad enters tonight winless on the season. Like I said last week, they are not a horrible team. They have played some big schools and made a couple of district games interesting for a long time. The Bruins were held to 7 first half points (recovered fumble returned for TD) and I believe were limited to 3 first half drives. Col Acad will try to run the ball and keep JC good offense off the field. I think this game will be close going into the 4th were JC wears them down and ends up winning by 17. These are just my opinions of tonights games. The only thing I know for sure; tonight's football games will finally have some "fall football weather."

Last year (until the Waverly game) Forrest seemed to have good players, but weren't a good team... this year, they seem to have good players, and are a very good team. Sounds silly, but those who understand will get it.

Kids wouldn’t leave and go to that school if your zoned public school hung 60 on them, just because they want to feel special that little Johnny is “being recruited”. I’m still not sure why kids are leaving Rutherford or Sumner Counties to go to privates. Especially kids leaving Sumner to go to JPII... I mean they have never won anything in football. One playoff victory? Their best record EVER is 7-4 and that was with a NCAA All American, a Biletnikoff winner, a NFL Pro Bowler. Talk about a waste of talent. PARENTS DON’T BELIEVE THE LIES... YOUR KID ISNT GOING TI GET BETTER COACHING. YOUR KID DOESNT HAVE A BETTER CHANCE IF PLAYING IN COLLEGE. LET HIM PLAY WITH HIS FRIENDS AT PROGRAMS THAT HAVE TRADITION, HAVE BETTER COACHING, WIN MORE GAMES, HAVE STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS.

Yet another thread that has gotten off topic. If it isn't talking about Greenback "orchestration" in literally just about every topic, then it just turns into one bashing another. I am guity of it as well. I am all for a good banter back and forth, but man, some things just need to be let go and stick to the topic.

I could care less who wins it lol. I’m sure my son would like to win it but if you ask him if he would rather have an individual trophy or a chance to win a championship with his team mates it would be a know brainer. Like I said last year I’m not a fan of individual trophies.
