Both those Science Hill games are going to be ugly. Science Hill is way down this year, Crockett has their best team ever, and Greeneville is still Greeneville. Volunteer at Cherokee's also going to be a blowout. By all accounts I'm hearing, Volunteer's even worse than last year and Cherokee's improved a lot.1 point

McConnell turned the program around that’s for sure! Can Boldin keep it going I like to think he can! Waverly made the best hire they could. I mean this man has a state championship under his belt! Does McConnell?1 point

Farragut’s OL is gonna need to step up as well. They are improving and have gotten better throughout the preseason practices and scrimmages. They are going to need to have a good night tho.1 point

I have not seen them at all this year but all accounts have been that #5 has been doing really well at QB, I really dont care who plays QB as long as it is the one that gives us the best chance to be successful.....1 point

I'd be surprised if it's a larger crowd than Alcoa/Maryville game?....but, it could be? A big crowd will only make the game more exciting!!1 point

lol. Probably. I'm mature enough to admit that its a pet peeve of mine. These local kids have known each other their whole lives, miss the opportunity to have the memories and experience of playing each other in high school because of adults with fragile egos.1 point

u forgot to mention Co-opin as part of them Luzziane athletics Booger just sayin1 point

I would never root for Huntingdung. NEVER. But some of our in county neighbors I would cheer for. Like Trenton. They are rivals but not bitter rivals. Kinda like a special needs pet monkey. Like to poke them with a stick every now and then for a good laugh but definitely not bitter rivals. (Wait for it....)1 point

PREDICTION TIME: Greeneville is an unknown right now, anytime you change head coaches that is just going to be the case. Also when you graduate several players who are now playing major college ball. However, until proven otherwise, I think it unwise to pick against the Devils. Greeneville by 10. Represent NET well!1 point

Those 28 points came in the first 20 minutes of a running clock on three big plays and one drive. Second team played second half. Brighton is not really down, just gave up the big plays. They actually have some decent looking schemes and throw the ball well.1 point

I watched a middle school basketball game a couple of years ago up in the bootheel. It was district tournament semis. Caruthersville down by 2 with seconds to go misses wide open 3 that would have won the game. The next day I had some of the kids in class. I asked them if they thought missing that shot cost them the game. One player said yes. Then I pointed out they went 4-17 from 3 that night. And any of the other shots from 3 they missed could have won the game as well. They then had a completely different outlook. Point is that wasn’t Gibson Co only score. Peabody could have handled business at other points in the game on defense and that blown call wouldn’t have mattered. That wasn’t the only play that cost them the game.1 point

If they had stayed in the West, Huntington's record would most likely have been worse then the record you indicated over the last few years. After all, with their move to a region that is more Mid-State orientated, the Mustangs should Breeze with ease through their region schedule on a yearly basis. It's not the Mustangs fault, but there are more cupcakes and Twinkies on that Regions schedule then Hostess could put in a box. You could pick any region week of the year as your homecoming week and not have anything to worry about. Huntington's only competition until the playoffs will come from their non region schedule.1 point

Same to y'all… I'm as much of a Waverly fan as I can be, and still have to beat you to get where we want to be. You can't watch a game like the 'quarters in 16 without respecting the other team... made me a fan.1 point

Me and sportman are gonna drone train our db's. They'll have to cover them from one endzone to the other and back. If you can cover a drone you can cover a WR. Just like if you can dodge a wrench, you can dodge a ball.1 point
