I really appreciate the invite. I hate that I'm going to miss it, but I should've known that I spoke too soon (w/too much bravado....I swear she has a 6th sense) for my plans to work out. Listen the fact you think creasy can't coach is your opinion the record and facts show he wins, he played under coach sharp at Lewis county, he coached under Clint Satterfield which is 2 hall of fame coaches and imo creasy is headed in the same direction, just because a coach is a players coach doesn't mean he doesn't control the team. Creasy left TC for a boat load of more money and to get out of clints shadow, he wants to prove he can do it by himself and you can't hate on a man because of that.

You can’t play the forfeit card! Since before the season started its been all Whitwell! Which hey, Whitwell deserves all the praise they are receiving, been a while since you’ve heard anything from Whitwell besides girls basketball or softball! So it’s good to hear the football team has and is being successful! But, like I’ve said before...until I see the final score saying Whitwell beats South Pittsburg, they are just another team in the way for SP to play 1A Alcoa (Greenback)! Both Whitwell and SP have a tough road to go no matter who beats who! One game at a time till those young men get to do battle to settle the big debate! Whitwell beats Signal Mtn this Friday night!

Station Camp was horrible last year and WC won 38-28.... They are at least better than they were last year. I don't know if I can say that about WC.

Man I really dont like to talk crap but last years thread had them winning by 3 touchdowns the WHOLE thread. We beat them and then it was blamed on refs and other stuff like coach should have thrown or something like that. But I hope in all honesty they look down on our qb the last time that happened he had a career night. I checked weather this morning in Sequatchie county was 40 % chance. With that storm hitting florida may get something nasty in all honesty.

02 team consisted of Mr. Football T.T. Harper and Wesley Satterfield along with a Hard Nosed Sr Class and some talented underclassmen. Reason you didnt see them is because TC played 3A at that point. Lost to Knoxville Fulton in Semifinals in OT. Being that i played on the '05 team you would think i would be biased towards that team but IMO 97 & 98 were the 2 best teams to come through yet. Miss seeing you around Croz.

Wrapup show from last week. I don't know who all contributes to this, but it is so well done. Clips, interviews. Kids get some airtime. Very impressive!

Honestly no one knows except keyvont coach Waggoner and DOS Satterfield, I have heard many different answers, so don't be surprised if you see him next week but don't be surprised if you don't see him lol

I would guess SP has an average 40-50% of its fan base show up weekly. Less than that during lean years. Spoiled fan base for sure. Mindset is play for Gold or go home. Even on strong years when the team has a chance for a special year most only show for the big games and then again in 3rd & 4th rounds. It is just the beast that coach Grider created. Hopefully he throws his anchor down and never leaves. With social media being what it is today no coach deserves to have to follow in his foot steps

On a side note, I always like to see local kids do well. Jacob Saylors had a good night for ETSU last night and will be playing in Neyland Stadium this Saturday against the Vols. Pretty neat going from playing in front of probably 5,000 as his biggest crowd to 100,000.

This game never disappoints. My cousin played for Clinton in 1998, and I remember me and my Mamaw went and picked him up after the game and both teams had just gotten in a brawl after the game. I will never forget that haha. Heated rivalry.

I have wondered myself. I just saw the profile though, and that's all the same. Maybe Greenback, goats and grannies took its toll.
