I appreciate the kind words and hope you enjoyed our broadcast. If this was the last game these two teams ever play, it is fitting that the series stay tied at six wins each. Adamsville is and will always be one of the measuring stick teams in 2A football. I appreciate the hospitality my partner and I were shown by many people from The Ville tonight. It was appreciated.

No you said, You’re out of your mind if you think the 3 teams are decent all 3 can win a lot of games in 2 and 3a divisions ! I believe in 2A we could hold our own with a lot of teams and your probably right with Sequatchie’s region but the top dog in 3A is Alcoa. I’ve seen in person what they can do on a football field. In 1A the top dog is GB and until they are beat we are just first to be last! Good luck Friday night but like I said, another win for Whitwell!

The lack of respect for Alcoa and Greeneville is just absurd. Just because those two programs play in the smaller classifications doesn't diminish how good they are. Both of them have just as many, if not more, high level recruits as the 6A and D2 teams have. It's all about talent and their coaches ability to put them in a position to win. Both of those programs are as good as any in the state in that regard.

Dearest Mother- I write to inform you of our latest attack by the Creek Panthers this past Friday on our precious homeland. You'll be pleased to know our defenses were strong and were well prepared. As I turn my spyglass to Captain Victory's next campaign I see Captain Fear Beard readying his Warriors for what can only be described as the worlds greatest rivalry. The sarcastic compliment game has hit new heights. With a decent crew reffing the game i expect it to be a much better game then the last. I thought the playoff game was one of the worst officiated games ever. Lol I do not believe some of those holding calls on the exterior should have ever been called and the fumble on the punt was an obvious fumble...... Ultimately I think the outcome would have been similar mostly because of that deep o line an great special teams play by south Pitt , they did a good job in exploiting some problems Whitwell experienced last year in punt an coverage.

Rivalry games are the best. Clinton's last win against AC was during the 2009 regular season just to turn around and lose to them in the playoffs a few weeks later. AC has a very big and physical team. Clinton has had trouble defending the pass so far and Martin has been nearly perfect!! Go Dragons!!!

I believe if our coaches had stayed in the two back set you guys would have never stopped it. TC line was getting major movement. When they went back to one back with motion it seems u guys were in good shape. The secret to beating u guys is foot to foot and run right at you. U guys are quick and run good side to side. I was impressed with u guys as a whole. Heard yalls qb is out for year. Is that true? I don’t care which team it is I don’t like seeing any kid get hurt and especially one who is committed to playing for his team !

We could just as easily lose this game honestly, but we shouldn't considering what we returned from the starting line up. Although we had an impressive win at Cumberland Gap last night Meigs didnt seem as excited this game compared to the first 2 games. I hope they come fired up and ready to lay the lumber on you guys. We really need a team to push us to play from behind some. Really see how bad they want it with scenarios like that.

I would say John Overton's win over Stewart Creek may be close to impressive, in its proper context.

The injuries hurt on defense too. Didn't show as much last week. But Probably our best cover guy was out. Our starting QB is a strong defensive player as well. But hats off to y'all. Great game. Even without the injuries not sure the outcome would have been different but hopefully closer. Also think our boys attitudes were affected more by the injuries than I would have expected. But congratulations still. Y'all have a great team and it is going to be a tall order for anyone to beat you this year. Good luck rest of the way.

what sets greeneville apart from most every other HS this year, is their work ethic. These boys.....95 percent of these boys....were out there grinding just as hard during Union Co. week, as they were for DB week, or MoW week. The "core" of this years team may be the most driven and focused group of kids to ever come thru the halls of GHS and im not just talking about some seniors. There's a group of about10-15 or so of this years squad that's just different than what you find at most HS football programs and i think it goes far beyond what they do on the football field. These boys are knockin it out of the park in every aspect of life. Ty Youngblood is an absolute freakish animal when the pads are on, but in his every day life, he's a braniac, as we use to call them in my day, who most likely will score 30 plus on his act, according to coach ballard, who will be either valedictorian or whatever runner up to that it....salutatorian maybe....heck i wasnt even sure i could spell those words correctly or not...LOL..but anyway, he's just not your typical HS "jock" by any stretch. Him and several others on this team are a parents "fill in the blank" dream. Obviously I'm biased and i DO realize there are plenty of kids like that all over the state and country. I just dont know that there's another school with as many of those type kids. I didnt even mention all the personal accolades and accomplishments the younger of the ballard men has already completed in his young life. Forgive my long rant/ramble, i just sometimes cant help myself when talking about some of these youngins. I am very very proud of my own daughter and wouldnt trade her for 10 kids just like her, but i also love to brag on these kids, which im sure you probably understand.

This was a very nice win over DB's biggest rival.Whatever happens the rest of the way ,this was a great job by the DB staff and the players that a few people say DB no longer has.Yes I expect some very hard games for the Tribe down the road but this was a very big win tonight and this DB team deserves some praise after two tough games .They got up off the mat and played one heck of a game tonight.

Our kicker and the rest of these freshmen should be fun to watch next few years coming....Had a few on the field tonight. My youngest got to play a bit after returning from injury too. And thanks for the compliment, hes a dandy. Your kicker grows another foot and snaps wont be a problem
