Ladies & Gentleman, this is why the election is so important. Remember to thank all your liberal socialist democrat friends for the memories lost by the outgoing seniors. Dang shame, our country has become so politically corrupt. TRUMP 20206 points

To our good neighbors in Waverly. Like you all, this was one football game we in Fairview do look forward to. Whether it be the heart crushing OT loss or the last second win, we love this football game as much as you do. We’re all in uncharted waters these days. As bad as we miss the Friday Night Lights in Fairview, I think we all appreciate the efforts of keeping the players, parents and grandparents safe and healthy during these times. I think I can say as a tiny part of Yellow Jacket Nation...we apologize. But, in the grand scheme of things currently, I think we all agree that the pigskin bouncing around on the gridiron is minimal compared to health. We, like you, hope this game is rescheduled. But, if not, you can bet Yellow Jacket Nation will be Tiger fans for the rest of your season. Until then, let’s all keep our fingers crossed and pray for each other during this mess.2 points

#20 for FHS had 200 total yards rushing and receiving. 3 TDs. #1 for OR should have played. He tweaked his ankle on Monday. What happened to if your injured you sit out. If you're hurting, you play. I don't care if you have college offers or not. All football players are banged up and hurting this time of year. What kind of message does that send to teammates, #1 has to be protected because he is more important than the rest of you guys. smdh Horrendous performance by OR last night. The thing that bothered me the most was the team was flat. They looked exhausted. They looked slow and out of shape. They looked disinterested. After the game some, not all, were laughing and joking. It didn't seem to bother them that they lost, to Farragut of all teams. I know a team can't be "up" every single week. But this was OR vs Farragut! Better get to work and improve this week or they will get boat raced at West. Running Clock. 1st time since Stanton era.2 points

You’re right. Farragut ran the ball pretty well, but our run defense did enough to win the game so long as we contain #20, and.....we didn’t. Like you said, the guy singlehandedly beat OR last night. I’m never one to call out coaches, but that was one of the most embarrassing coaching jobs I’ve seen by our staff on a lot of fronts. I’m speechless as to how we never made adjustments on defense. They are to blame for a lot of this by continuously putting our kids in bad situations repetitively, especially #17. It was obvious that they were picking on him and trying to purposely exploit him last night in coverage, and the coaches (as I’ve said till I’m blue in the face) never adjusted. All I can say is...........WOW.2 points

Dearest Mother- Your youngest son, who is of sound mind and strong body, picks up his quill once more to inform you our battle is at hand. For several weeks I have heard the howls and war cries coming from the Warrior camp here in the valley. The distant banging of their pow wow drums have steadily increased with intensity and fervor. Sleep has escaped me for the most part. No, not out of fear or such, but out of knowing this campaign is of utmost importance. For you see, there is a new Chief leading the uprising. One that has been known to this valley before. One that has been welcomed back with a triumphant celebration and hailed as their next Savior. He has gathered up some of their scattered tribe from out of the Fiery Gizzard from whence Captain Victory exiled them. He has gathered them together to bring civil war and chaos to the valley. Especially towards Captain Victory and his Band of Pirates. But have no fear Sweet Mother of mine, for I can assuredly profess to you and anyone else that Captain Victory is most ready for this battle. For he was borned and groomed for this moment in time. We all were. So get into your safe place Sweet Mother of mine and drag Papa along with you. Let loose our farm animals. Let them fend for themselves. For it has been said that Captain Victory cannot and shall not put down this conquest. That he will be conquered by Chief Pruitt and his Warriors and be run out of the valley. But lo and behold I have seen Captain Victory's plans. Yes, my eyes have gazed upon these wondrous plans that shall be carried out. And when these plans are put forth and implemented it shall leave no shadow of a doubt who is the greatest Captain in the valley from the beginning of time until the end of ages. Yes, when the dust has settled upon this valley and the sun rises on the morrow Captain Victory and his Band of Pirates shall stand Victorious and Supreme. And there shall be peace in the valley once more. Amen and Amen. Love to all- Sgt Southtowner2 points

Anderson, Betsy & Greene will be around Come playoffs and I wouldn’t count out Sullivan South just yet either. Out past Knoxville will be Springfield, Marshall County, Hardin County, and Tullahoma. Betsy’s going to be a challenge. Greene will improve and be ready. Anderson County’s wanting their shot. Springfield seems to shine the most when it counts, Marshall County will improve as the season goes along. But Tullahoma looks be making some noise. Should be some great football ahead of us.1 point

H20 wanted it more, when the tough got going Dekalb couldn't hang. Watertowns O-line is really coming together, even with one starter out tonight they won the battle in the trenches. They never get the credit they deserve, so my hats off to the men up front. But boy they sure were big across the front line.1 point

H2O just wore DeKalb out. After they tied it up you could just see DeKalb was running out of gas. It was all DeKalb for most of the first half. They put #68 Chumley in on defense as well as offense in the 2nd half and I think that made a huge difference. He helped clog up the middle giving the speed guys time to get to their runners. Really good adjustment by Coach Hacket. DeKalb has some really good looking players. Their QB is a stud. Good arm, elusive in the pocket and a powerful runner when he needs to be. H2O played like they will have to all year. Hope the defense can keep them in the game until the offense figures out something that works.1 point

More points than I thought would be scored, but this win definitely helps TC more than the loss hurts Gordy in the larger scheme of things!1 point

No where in my post did I say not wear a mask. I was pushing the N95 as a minimum when Dr. Da Foucci was saying it wasn't going to be a big deal and saying don't wear a mask. Then again, I am a professional biologist/entomologist the last 17 years of which have been in spring fed Florida cypress swamps.1 point

Prayers for the kid or kids that tested positive. I know this is a huge game. I can only imagine how they are feeling right now. I know Marion Co will rally around those that tested positive, and lift them up. Terrible situation.1 point

The formula is there - Powell is very weak up front, and Karns has taken advantage. That sustained drive kept Powell's offense off the field for about 8 min too. Powell has scored on 3 of their 4 possessions, but holding Powell to just 4 offensive possessions in a half has to be a win for them.1 point

Those lineman are abnormal for their age. I’m not sure how much bigger some of them can get but for the next 4 years the Warriors will have some monsters up front. That group is men against boys. SP line will close the gap over the years but will def be undersized up front in this series after 2021. Pickett was still biggest difference maker. Should have some close battles over next few years. Will be interesting in seeing which kids are gamers that show up and rise to a big game atmosphere. So far it’s been a lackadaisical start to the season for us and they are trending up. Good luck to both teams tonight! At end of the day I’m just glad we are playing football and hope all the kids walk away injury free. SP 28 MC 71 point

Any idea what the specifics are? It seems many schools are making really bad decisions with cancellations. In other words, instead of sitting the positive player(s), they are doing some weird contact tracing and forcing numerous kids to sit out. It’s all over the map how different schools are handling this too. I think this has been a big overreaction for the simple fact that kids are simply not at risk! None are hardly ever hospitalized and most kids are asymptomatic! I mean, what are we doing?! With kids, it should be treated exactly like the flu. If they are symptomatic and test positive, sit them out. Everyone else...play ball! Stop with the fear and panic emotional reaction craziness!1 point

Way to try and Troll. Greeneville fan's have stuck on these board for a long time even when Fulton had their 3 year run while in 4a. The top 4a program in the last decade with a 90% winning percentage and 83% winning percentage in the play-offs and 4 gold balls and a silver ball in the trophy case. Unless your a Betsy Fan (who is the only 4a team to beat us in the last 3 years ) I would worry about your program getting on Greeneville's level in 4a1 point
