I wouldn't even have called that thing a snake. It was more like an oversized worm.3 points

I would be shocked. He can't win it in 2AA. That is controlled by Nashville. DIlfer is bringing in kids from all over the country. It would take several years to build up and at his age I just don't see him wanting to wait that long.2 points

Great post from the heart. They go by fast. Our HS career ended at the Glass House in 2020 and still every day the HS closure isn’t there, but we were blessed and have enjoyed watching Karly. The 2020 year ended with us having to play Loretto in the semis. Loretto was good and Karly may have won another Gold Ball. GC may have beat Loretto and played for another. Nobody knows??? But it hurt all players and fans involved. Very obvious she gives her all every possession and she will be successful in whatever she does, because you know she is going to give it her all whatever it is.2 points

Karly’s Facebook post form this morning. Great leader. Great player. Great young lady. Alabama is getting a good one. SENIOR NIGHT This is a day that has gotten here entirely too fast. These three have been my ride or dies for a long time(Autumn(2nd grade), Shelby(3rd grade), and Ju(5th grade)). We have experienced many injuries, tough life situations, loss of loved ones, and trials of every day life together. We’ve won championships and lost championships together. We’ve seen each other in the early mornings and late at night. We’ve seen each other at our worst and best. Not a tough day goes by where one of us doesn’t reach out to the other to encourage them. We’ve went through the blood, sweat, and tears together. We learned early on that basketball is not who we are, but it’s something we do. We’ve played many ball games together, but the relationships that we have built will go much further than the games. On my tough days they find a way to make me smile, and on my good days they find a way to make it better. We don’t tear one another down, but we build each other up. I would do anything for these three. Over the years, they have become my sisters and I can’t imagine what life would’ve been like if I didn’t have them by my side. They make me love the game of basketball because we all understand it’s so much bigger than a ball and a hoop. Although we like to win a whole lot, we are more interested in making each other better in life. We have never cared who gets the credit as long as the job is accomplished. We are all work horses and hope that it leaks into the kids that are below us. I love these girls with everything I have in me. BUT we aren’t finished yet. We have one more run left in us. I wouldn’t want to be a part of a senior group with anyone other than these three!!2 points

Connor Meadows signed with the university of Tennessee along with his teammate Malik Ganaway. While his brother Mr football winner Khalik Ganaway made his decision to go to UT martin with Jordan Shepard. They deserve to go down. I've watched their games on their YouTube channel and they would be up by 30 or 40 and still press with their starters. I hope Newport wins1 point

They could probably beat the Lady Vols. 6 ‘ 7 center and D-1 players everywhere. They put a new meat and 3 restaurant that is getting worldwide attention that has them all wanting to move there.1 point

Tony Rowland is one of the very best at training young wrestlers. The problem is that Tony is old school and if the kids aren’t working hard enough to be a state champion he will hurt their feelings and tell them. They don’t get any better than Tony “GAMARAYS” Rowland He’s going to steal your pearl!1 point

Giles Co boys team yelling overrated at Karly when she misses a shot when they’ve lost as many games this year as she has in the last three season is a spectacular example of todays youth and their lack of awareness lol1 point

That’s going to be an interesting game. I know Greenfield has this one circled since the last game.1 point

I haven't ever seen Green double up constantly on 1 player. I would think they he would play aggressive outside defense (including trapping) to limit clear looks at the basket. We will need knock down our own shots (something we haven't done consistently) to compete tonight. I still think it will be a fantastic game regardless.1 point

This has been tight this year. Sweetwater, Central, Meigs, or Kingston have the potential to beat each other any given night. Gonna be interesting.1 point

I knew well before that. Keep thinking you were the only one in the know. Some of us just waited til it was official.1 point

I wonder. If I started a topic called, " all things Nolensville", would people post State Dual predictions?1 point

It won’t surprise me if they do, they’re very talented. They definitely have the edge in talent, for sure. OR definitely has the edge in coaching. We’ll lace ‘em up and see how it pans out. Should be a doozy.1 point

You have your finger somewhere that’s for sure. CGR has been telling folks this was his last year as early as last summer. He’s ready for a new challenge that’s different from what he’s been accustomed to per his own words. He has no hobbies other than riding his bike in Townsend so he claims he will always coach and his wife agrees. He and his wife are class acts and I wish them all the best on their new adventure.1 point

Hearing conflicting stories now…I’ll say this..if I was an older coach I would rather go to a team that can win it all every year opposed to a team that doesn’t have a chance at it…1 point

It is certainly within the realm of possibility. We will have to play our best ball of the year to win. Clinton is very good and maybe the best 3A school in East TN.1 point

True, not to take anything away from Coach Gray, but look at look at some of the guys that we were fortunate to have on the team during that time. Running backs: Spencer Guilmire, Daniel Johnson, Jake Vane, Leonard Blair Lineman: Eli Manning, Josh Whaley, Tyler Lane, Tyler Trent, Alex Stuart, James Normand1 point

Listen, the starters played the first quarter and usually play a couple of minutes in the 3rd coming out of halftime. This play was in the first minute of the 3rd quarter. And not bragging but we have played few games where our starters have played two quarters. Being in shape and being in game shape to play 4 quarters is 2 different things. We will have to play some 4 quarter games in the near future so what do you suggest we do? The 2 Summertown games, the Jackson So Side and Westmoreland games have honestly been the only games our starters have seen extended minutes. I don’t think the play was intentional but it was a foul and should’ve been called and the worst part is you have a scumbag official making a statement like that? He should never do another game again. That entire crew allowed a lot of things both ways. Seeming to get the game over.1 point

His first season at Riverdale, and the only season he failed to make the playoffs there. Went 10-0 the next season and never looked back. I met him in 1992 when he led his unbeaten team to Cleveland to face our unbeaten team in the 2nd Round. Man were the playoffs tough in those days! Riverdale beat us 26-14. The following week they traveled to play another unbeaten and top ranked Clinton and lost. That was Cleveland’s final loss before they started their 54 game winning streak.1 point

Coach Josh Wolfe he was HC at West Carroll for 5 years or so and really turned that place around. He left there with half the rest of the teachers not sure why they all left. He is a winner1 point

Only position decided for tournament is Fayetteville at #1. Eagleville could still finish as high as 3. Should be an entertaining tournament.1 point

Crockett should definitely have been higher. In sectionals vs Gibbs last week after 13 matches the score was 30-30 and Crockett lost 33-30 with both teams at full strength. The only FF of the dual was Crockett at 106.1 point

I nominate Josh Templeton for this position. I am Captain Guru and I approve this message.1 point

Resume' is legit! Has won 2 state championships been to a couple more with West and Catholic as a Defensive coordinator (maybe wrong on the catholic possibly position coach). Coached offensive line and Defensive Ends being a part of some really good Central teams back when he first he started coaching. Kevin Lane is hard nosed, great ball coach, and a WINNER. If I am Halls I would call him offer him the job and make him say no. If he says no I would offer it to Brent Hughes.1 point
