We lost a big man for the season early on with a knee. One of our starters wasn't dressed last night but he had been ejected last week early so that may have been it. Other than that I don't know. Our friend has a freshman on the team is the reason we sometimes go. My son is in middle school and he likes to go see his friends.

Its the kettle calling the pot black. Some H2O posters were saying same thing about TC player last year calling him a thug and that he was in jail which were straight up lies. Beat me to it. It isn't easy to live with during the "down" periods, but the team needs fans to still back them. We (Scotts Hill) are way further down than Waverly, but I know that our coach is the man to bring us back, and I think you guys should feel that way about yours. You graduated an amazingly talented group of kids and lost a great coach. We did the same in '16, and got a young assistant coach who turned out to be a bad guy in more ways than one... he proceeded to run off good kids, bankrupt the program, and get himself arrested. We wasted two years of momentum between good coaches, but I think you guys wasted nothing. You hired a hometown guy coming off a state championship, who loves it there enough to leave his team and come home. You have talent... not three Mr. Football type talent, but solid football players at every position with some bench talent. It will take us both time to get where we will eventually be, but I think in a few years we'll be meeting deep in the playoffs again, and we owe you one!

Somebody put out an APB for EastNasty

Central historically has been a bad team that every beats up on. Greeneville only scoring 70 was generous. Truthfully Central should be playing at the skill level of 3A and even then they would probably struggle. Central has been dealt a bad hand truthfully. Greeneville definitely needed this blowout to get their guys rolling and get the younger guys some solid playing time.

Im gonna pull a Roy here.ARE YOU STUPID?We have not denied it we let you all know on here before it was even "out" that we had 4 kids transfer here in the offseason.We have broke NO RULES thats why folks are mad because they cant figure out why these kids from SURROUNDING schools that were TERRIBLE (other than Maryville of course) SOLD HOMES AND BOUGHT HOMES IN LOUDON COUNTY to send their kid here to play for an outstanding program with TONS of INTEGRITY and always has had it and always will.Kids will continue to come and if they MOVE LEGALLY we cannot turn them down plain and simple.Its crazy to say we went our and recruited these kids when they see us winning and they go thru the same crap every year.

H20 has to put a full 4 qtrs together... The online has to open some running lanes... Definitely got some work there but a win is a win! Get some rest on bye week and come back ready for Jackson Co

If your school win's, then kid's want to come there and play, especially if there team has about 50 or less fan's to come watch a game. I've seen some team's come to SP that it didn't look like there was anybody over in the visitor's stand's. Seriously, what kid want's to play for a school that has no backing? I don't blame them for wanting to leave. All I have heard this year is about GB and SP, well. they both win and kid's want to go there. Our coaches can't help it if they want to come. I am sure all coach's would not turn down a good player that want's to come to there school the legal way.

Their wins over Brentwood and Germantown are impressive. They took Beech to the wire. I think they are a top 5 west TN team for sure.

EastNasty probably in meeting this morning going over corrections and film review. Sounded like a good defensive battle. With PC having players out and still winning it seems like if EN gets a rematch they better have a way to score points. Surprised PC shut them out.

If the Rebel defense shows up and plays next week like they did last night, Rebels will be tough to beat. Solid defensive effort. In addition, McKenzie was able to control the line of scrimmage in the second half against a good size GC line. Rebels 24 Dresden 14.

The only ppl saying Oakland won't be challenged are non Oakland folk. Oakland has never won at Maryville. In the Creasy Era, the home team has always won when Oakland and Maryville meet up, so I'd argue it's the Rebels that are the favorites

After a 60-13 shellacking and you have that to complain about? C’mon man. No offense to Isaiah, he’s a great kid who I’m sure has worked his tail off, but so has every other kid on the team. If it wasn’t him it would be somebody else complaining about not getting enough touches. You can’t please everyone in life. That’s why I could never be a football coach. Parents constantly complaining that their kid isn’t getting enough touches or playing time etc. Honestly, I don’t see how a lot of these coaches deal with it, I couldn’t. At least he’s out there playing just about every down. Put yourself in the shoes of a senior player who has worked his a$& off for 3 years and NEVER gets to play. Better yet, put yourself in the shoes of a parent whose kid NEVER gets to play. There are plenty out there like that. BTW, not saying you’re his parent or even related to him, but it’s the same mentality of someone who would be. Also Walter Payton (one of the best RBs in the history of football) didn’t get to score in the only Super Bowl he got to play in. And you’re complaining about Isaiah not scoring against Karns in the regular season ha. Again, come on....*face palm*.

FINAL: NCS 28, USJ 27. It was a heavyweight fight tonight and NCS landed the last blow with 1:40 remaining to take the lead. After a PI call put them deep in Bruin territory, the TD came on a wacky tipped ball was brought down by a nearby NCS receiver. USJ then moved backwards in the 2 minute drill and ultimately turned it over on downs before time expired. USJ caught the breaks early, capturing the lead on holding it for about 44 of the 48 minutes, but momentum shifted in the fourth quarter and failing to capitalize on some earlier opportunities came back to bite the Bruins. These two teams were very evenly matched and a postseason rematch would be interesting to say the least.

It is a violation for ANYONE other than a registered student to participate in practice. I can remember one school losing all of spring practice for having a 21 year old in pads run the ball against starting D to simulate a good back. In that case nobody was hurt. The concussion will cost the system a lot of $$$ which means coaches got to go.
