I admit I typed it and I was pretty pissed at the time. Coach Swenson has won alot of football games at Huntingdon and he's gonna win 2 more this year. I'm 100% behind him and am confident he will have the team ready to go with all the best plays called for Friday night. All you outside Huntingdon are nothing but noise and haters. It's going to be the best week of high school football in Huntingdon so if you ain't with us you against us! Stampede coming thru get out the way!

Since you are interested in this type topic. SP has had super large senior classes, then the following year struggle to reach a winning season. Whitwell is another example of no orchestrated transfers to fill voids. This is the norm for small schools, unlike any Honey Hole BS spewed by some! Bottom line is lack of accountability by the TSSAA to provide fairer location of centralized state championship games to good overall officiating to intensive monitoring of illegal acts by coaches, orchestrators and schools.

Im right here betsy. Havent gone anywhere just reading and licking my wounds like a ton of other proud devils fans. So many things to say about this senior class of Devils and at some point soon i will do so in a video. But right now, Betsy has certainly earned the right to not have to share the spotlight with anyone. Rollins is a special kid on the football field. A real difference maker that will be fun to watch for two more years. That entire team looks to me alot like the 17 and 18 greene team. Only thing missing at this point is a couple gold balls and i dont think it would surprise anyone to see that happen. As emotional and invested as i am with my devils, i cant even imagine what i would be like if i had a son that played, so hats off to all the parents that get through it every year without stroking out. Amazing atmosphere at CB stadium. Im STILL hearing that stinkin Woooooh....lol...if i can stomach the pain i may end up tuning in friday...or maybe even attending... Finish the job betsy, all of NET is watching and pullin for you.

BVD your videos are the best and I hope we get to meet one day and we have a long way to go to accomplish what the Devils have done over the last decade and this Cyclones fan wishes the best for the Devils and I know there are more battles a brewing for these two teams.BVD keep up those videos.

I think it will all lie in the hands of the Offensive and defensive lines!Which one can take advantage of the other will be the difference.If both are efficient then alot of points will be scored and who has it last will have the upper hand.My opinion is if we cannot run it at all,our chances fly out the door.Our terrible outing last Fri with our undisciplined actions worries me just as much as SPs Defense!

Nothing new here... Stone is the favorite. I don't think they are unbeatable but definitely the best team right now. CHS is building something special though. They will be a tough win for anyone this year. At one point in the RDale game I looked up and saw 2 freshmen, and 3 sophs in the game! Future looks bright.

I've never given much thought about exactly when possession changes on a punt, but it stands to reason that it's not until the receiving team's player possesses (or touches) the ball... otherwise wouldn't the kicking team be able to field the ball, either in the air, or on the ground as in a kickoff? Kicking team can field a punted ball, but if they touch it before the receiving team, the ball is dead on that spot, and goes over to the receiving team.

My brother lived in Nolensville. You are correct, they carved this "zone" right out of Ravenwood. I think it affected Ravenwood a little bit, but I think they added a grade a year at first and really took their lumps playing with what was technically JV only, the first years. I've got a big "little" cousin at E-Town so I'm pulling for them.

T$$AA could take some of that money and build a high school stadium in a centralized location that would seat 8 to 10 thousand fans. Put a track around it use it to hold track field tournament. Put a couple base fields around it for state tournament. you could schedule a game there every week during season. Teams that normally wouldn’t play each because it would be to far to travel could meet middle play each other during regular season.

I like a true Hater! Most of the time a team pulls for the team that is representing their Region, but we get a lot of hate. Mostly due to false hope. For example when a team beats you 2 years in a row in regular season and then “thinks” they are going to get you in the playoffs to advance and maybe play in the BIG ONE....I think you get my point. I would probably pull for the other team too to be honest

Loudon has a great athlete that can score every time he touches the ball, QB is effective and big WR/TE can extend drives. Team is well coached. Excited to see this match up. I grew up with Alcoa, Maryville, Wall and and Loudon winning state championships. Two schools with a lot of tradition meeting each other for a the opportunity to play in Cookeville. Should be a great night.

I can already tell that I won't be able to keep you with this thread this week. But coaching gameplans and trench warfare will be the keys to this game. Who schemes the best and who's line can win their matchups will be the deciding factor in my mind. Can't throw if you can't protect the QB and you can't run if you can't open a hole. One of the more interesting matchups is going to be Lake co's outstanding center vs Huntingdons small super quick noseguard who penetrates well. Strength against quickness. Will go a long way in determining who wins this game.

Long time consuming drives! TC will 4 and 5 yard Meigs to death and eventually hit a few big ones while controlling the clock. TC will have more speed than Meigs IMO. #19 is a tough task for TC, but one that TC is willing to take on. Is it Friday yet?????

Calling our stadium sad is laughable, almost as laughable as crying about going 7-3 and not making the playoffs. Central did beat Springfield but choked later on when all they had to do was win out to win the region. That’s what happens when you schedule a cupcake non region schedule. You don’t do a team any favors doing that because it doesn’t prepare them for the playoffs.

Don’t forget to mention #14. He has thrown the ball very well this year and has handled the qb position very well. Also, Alcoa’s o-line absolutely dominated the line of scrimmage all night long. Gonna miss #64, #68, and #76. The freshman #79 is already turning heads!!! Good game AE! Congrats on a great season. Proud of Region 2 as a whole!!! On to the next!!!
