Parents and Fans. I understand that you are all die hard fans and cheer for your team. It absolutely blows my mind that any person on here would ever call a player out saying they aren't that good. And several times using their name when you do that. They are still kids. They dont get payed!! Im sure they read these threads. Just keep that in mind when you call a player out. Absolutely ridiculous in my humble opinion.

Bearettesalltheway I am not sure what pipe you have been smoking but not a lot of stuff you say on here makes much sense. The voting was done way before the state tournament and Madison’s stat line for the year was unbelievable. All three finalists were very good and could have easily won. Don’t discredit Madison with some of your dumb comments.

The new RTC SOUTh is now officially formed. The official schedule will be released shortly. The RTC South like all RTC’s are 100% donation based so there will be no cost to TN wrestlers to train there. They are planning on having a free Fargo Training camp this summer for all TN wrestlers who want to compete at Fargo. This will be a chance for TN wrestlers to work with 7 NCCAA All Americans. an oylimpian and D1 coaches. I have only seen them on video and not in person. Maryville beat them by 10 in our first game of the season. RW87 could answer that. Even though they are only 25 miles away, they play in District 2. They didn't get much press or hype because of Bearden, Oak Ridge, Maryville, Catholic, in our immediate area from Districts 3 and 4.

No that is not why Jones did not win MR Basketball. The reason is they don not like Humboldt that is a fact he did not showboat anyway he may have got a little emotional at times but that is the way he plays alot of kids play that way. Congrats to Mr Harris he is a good player!

Fayetteville has 2 players that can score. #20 and #0. Outside of that no one stands out. They play solid defense so they should be in the game. Clay didn’t have the size down low to offset their poor night shooting the ball. I think Humboldt wins but this should be a good game. I’ll say this Fayetteville had one of the most respectful fan bases I’ve seen in awhile which is rare these days, so I’m pulling for them to win.

To say that Gallatin hasn’t been relevant since 1992 is absurd. Sure they haven’t won a title the 92 season but there have been numerous teams that were highly successful since then. Gallatin has always been a relevant team within their region.

Yes, the TN Ironman, Kellar Classic and FreeStyle State will have a girls division. Ironman for girls will have Folkstyle and Freestyle, with Greco exhibitions for anyone wanting to give it a go. I've never liked watching a slow down game but if you're a smart coach you go with what gives you the best chance to win. Poore is a very good coach and in a few more years he won't have to use a slow down game to stay with teams like Bearden. Heck that last so-called coach at DB probably would of forfeited the game. I don't think it was in his contract to play past the regular season.

If DeKalb makes the championship game and plays Macon just give them the silver trophy and be happy. I have seen Macon-DeKalb twice this year and DeKalb doesn’t belong on the same court with Macon. I think they can beat Marshall in another close game and lose in the final four. They have already exceeded their expectations honestly. It’s not intended as disrespect just my honest assessment. If Macon can play like they have for the last 2 weeks they are going to be extremely tough matchup for anyone.
