Until a ballgame is determined to be the location all of this is irrational babbling. It could’ve been numerous places in a small town. The most likely one is probably the school itself. 1 positive in a high school setting with changing classes 5, 6 or more times per day and lunch or breaks could easily quarantine 80 students simply through contact tracing. Unless the “source” of exposure is announced its all purely speculation.

That made me laugh. Good sport. I do think Powell is a very good team. I understand the excitement. West looks pretty good too. Central seemed to reliant on the twins in the saturday game. But let's be honest, if the refs don't botch that no telling how it turns out. We're blessed with lots of good football right now.

Heath son did play there. They lost alot of talent from last year but are still very good

I guess I just disagree. I think Powell was a better team last year and West beat em once and almost beat em the first time. I think west is a better team this year than they were last year. It's important to note that Powell has not been near as convincing this year as they were last year. They eeked out two wins that they should have won easily this year if they're as good as yall say they are. I get that folks like those passing yards, but I'm not convinced yet. And I'm definitely not convinced they can beat Alcoa and Catholic the way some of yall are talking.

Nobody has offered SP anything to travel. Nobody has agreed to even play a game besides Fyffe who backed out when they found a home game. So all your analogy sounds great and I agree on some of it but there has to be a team willing to play first and that has not happened. The problem is no small school wants to play SP and no big school wants to play a small school. SP is not the only team looking for a home game. It works both ways. SP has already played 3 away games already.

Great point... People weren’t hating on this administration when they were watching the games on Friday night. We can live in fear or live our lives and react accordingly when something does happen. I myself prefer the latter and it sounds like Gordy has reacted accordingly to me.

Lake County didn't just compete with Westview last year they dismantled them. Westview people please make sure your AD keeps LC on the schedule. What Westview win last year 6 games and that was the most in at least a decade now all the sudden Westview is a state power. Lol.

I haven’t seen our team live yet so I can’t compare our 2020 team to our past teams. However, you said the 2020 Copper Basin team isn’t as good as the 2014 team? Look, I know you beat us that year but both of our teams were pretty bad. I hope Copper Basin is better than their 2014 team.

One thing is for sure everyone that is talking about state this or state that is not from Bledsoe. We just take it one game at a time. We haven’t earned the right to be mentioned in the same category as the traditional powers.

This means a lot coming from you being apart of those teams and being a classmate of one of the finest men I know and represented Maryville well. I haven't felt well since I heard this knowing I passed by his house last Thursday Night and waved at him while he was setting out on the front porch. I was in a time crunch trying to get somewhere on time because I really wanted to go back around the block and stop and speak. RIP Troy.

The entire group of officials suspended? I would suspect possibly the sideline judge that y'all were chirping about all night got suspended. Highly unlikely to suspend an entire crew of officials, especially with the statewide shortage.

Wilson Central is better than most think. They’re very capable defensively, and have a good rb on offense. However MJ should’ve been a 3 td better team. We had a long screen Td called back on a hold. We missed a fg, we Also ended the game on their 4 yard line and also dropped a wide open TD. On top of having 13 penalties I believe. Don’t get me wrong WC played well but we were shooting our selves in the foot. I’m also worried about our offensive scheme. We returned almost everyone but yet we are looking to be quite stale. minus WC td, they never really threatened us again. The MJ defense Overall is legit.

Taking absolutely nothing away from what the talent at Lake County was able to accomplish last season, however, Lake County went to overtime with Dresden....not exactly what a State Championship caliber team does. Huntingdon could only score six point on Bruceton....again not exactly a dominate performance. As far as a notch below, we agree on that, thus the descriptor "outsiders looking in." We also agree about South Pitt, however, this team seems stacked "unusually" high. Much better players than South Pitt typically has.

Not so fast. It is true Lake County is a young team and not like last year team but I am fairly confident that both Lake County and Huntingdon will play in the semifinals. The others you mentioned are a notch below this two in the west. Lake County will be just fine against 1A competition as will Huntingdon. So. Pitt is the overwhelming favorite to win a gold ball. Anything short of that is a complete failure and they may need to look within their program if that happens. So. Pitt has been favorite every year for the past 7 or 8 years and have not got the job done. It makes you wonder. This is the pirates year to get it done. If not there is something wrong on the pirate ship.

There were 4 unsportsmanlike penalties and there are no excuses for those. If you take those away, USJ was penalized approximately 85 yards and they also negated about 100 yards of offense. I believe there were 4 or 5 flags on JC, not certain of the yardage.

I think this one will be a good game! I think Midway will come out on top in a good one!

The tickets went on sale. Tuesday morning but it did say for TC residents only. But we are very close to fanless games in TC right now because of people not following the rules. But I'm sure you can still buy tickets today I don't know if they would out or not. I guess Dr. Satt decided to change the way he sold tickets this home game.
