Man I absolutely love Defense almost as much as I love a season turnaround story ! I know we all love banter and back n forth but week by week I have followed H2O, watched, listened, and really think your coaching staff is one of the top in the state ! You might disagree but this “Football Team” doesn’t have a ton of flash,but, flash don’t win a Gold ball now does it , this team H2O is fielding is dangerous, they lost some games early and now they dont want that taste in their mouth again, I wouldn’t wanna play them now, at all !!!! Huntingdon is earily similar, we went in and got stomped by a team that has no where near the athletes , they punched us in the mouth and beat us fair and square ! There could be some insane storylines a comin in 2A ! What a great year

Upper East Tn. did fairly well tonight in the first round. I think they won more than they lost.

I am saying this in GENERAL to all programs: When you allow parents to question playing time, positions, or discipline, you are asking for trouble. Coaches should have the ultimate say. Any administrator that does not back the coach or allows parents to verbally assault the staff OR other fans should be banned.

Agree. And it seems that HVA has a PE position to deal with their job according to the KCS job board. I figured HVA's administration would be more serious about finding a way to hire a quality candidate than Bearden. Dr. Speas knows what it takes, he has been around successful football.

That website used to strip all of the info from independent sites like mine and then publish the same info as their own. It took the threat of lawsuits to get them to stop, at least then, but they may still be doing it in other ways. So, I have no use for them.

If Forrest had Eagleville's coaching the last 4 seasons we'd have a trip to semis and prolly have a shot at one this year also. They don't make dumb mistakes usually. But they dont have the horses to play 4Q against most playoff caliber opponents

Bold hire for KCHS. I respect the willingness to think outside the box. Time will tell if it is the right decision. Clearly they see something special in this young man!

7 can throw to win games. He's comfortable in the pocket and has decent vision. He's had a few off games earlier in the season and delt with an injury early on but if given the opportunity he has the ability. Not many in 1a will matchup well with 28 one on one but it will depend on how often they let 7 throw down field. If the O line can get a push Kelly is a very dangerous back. Has speed power and good size. DL has been solid all year and with 75 back just made it even more solid.

I'd throw a vote Ben Smiths way. That kid is a force on Defense. That catch he made on fourth down in Jasper was pretty amazing and it took a couple of kids to bring him down every time he ran the ball. His highlights this year and big hits are pretty amazing but in all honesty like you mentioned Yeti this Meigs team is well balanced. You got Carroll, Smith, Key, Shaver, Huckaby, Heifner, Purgason, Falls, all making significant contributions. I like them giving # 15 the nod. He has been solid all year on both offense and defense. Also in special teams. He won us the game against Tyner with the Two punts that dropped and rolled to the 1 yard line and the other to the 3 that set up our field position for our scores not to mention his punt return in that game that got us to the 5 yard line and allowed Carroll to punch it in. And by the way he took a swing pass and threw a 60 yard bomb to hit a streaking receiver in stride for a TD. All in the same game. He has had big time interceptions on Defense, made big time plays on offense and huge catches and runs when we needed them on offense. I dont believe we would be undefeated or where we are without him. Good luck #15. From what everyone is saying it's already a foregone conclusion but hey who knows like 90 percent of the people on here were saying Marion was going to beat Meigs.

I would hope they ALL do , Mr Football is more than a star stuffing player imho ! I will say I really like the Huckabey fella sorry if I misspelled it

PF dodged us earlier this season but miraculously healed the following week. I hope coach puts up a 100 on PF which we can if he wants.

Not the main reason I’m stepping away, i have a stronger passion than radio that has been calling my name since I graduated high school, and this past summer I dove into an opportunity to chase a dream and enrolled as a 26 yr old college Freshman, and that dream is very obtainable but unfortunately to accomplish that dream I need my Friday nights back, I will still pay attention on here and will still go to some games, not just TC games. Me and my wife are also looking forward to starting a family(lord willing). To anyone else out there on these boards, it’s never to late to chase you dream and every dream is worth chasing! I’ll still be on here frequently for the rest of the season, and would appreciate any prayers to help me along the way. Never goodbyes always see you laters
