  1. Ok so most of you know who I am, Peabody Prides wife ! It’s so funny how this all started, Shane had a rough childhood like many,he suffered thru being homeless, drug addicted parents that physically and mentally abused him and some things I won’t put online ! We have made a few million lost it and are building back again, Shane right now is making no money on his current venture, he will though ! Funny thing is most would wallow in pity working 100 plus hours and dealing adversity, not him ! Really funny but he is a introvert for sure, Coach T has been a place where he loved to get peoples blood boiling at first, then he made a friend them another, it’s weird seeing him talk on phone or go hang out with folks, he’s guarded from his childhood ! Long story short , he didn’t help you guys @shockernation you helped him ! As broke as he is he had a meal he could do and it not cost him money “ right now” he knows how much Coach Quinn wants to change lives of his young Falcons, he knows what it’s like to have someone show they care, it changed his life as a young man ! Be able to make your kids smile made his day ! When your kiddos gave him those hand written notes he came back in store read them and teared up ! I didn’t find those awesome gift cards till later, he appreciated them but it was the cute notes and the appreciation of him as a man that got him in his feelings ! Things like this are just who he is and he believes when he is called home to be with the Lord that all that matters is who he helped! He truly is a great man ! Guys more than y’all know you have in your small ways changed his life! So to end my long wordy mush fest I say this , he carries a piece of paper in his pocket for 22 years and re writes it when it fades! I have suffered abuse I will be a shoulder to cry on or ear to listen to those that need me I have suffered homelessness I will lift my fellow man out of this with my last breath if needed I have suffered poverty I will teach those how to break these cycles thru showing caring for their life and teach them purpose ! I won’t be remembered as a famous man A rich man or the best man I will be remembered as a man, a average man than choose to help others and expect nothing in return ! Thanks for allowing me the space to write this GTF Rachel Malone

  2. This is probably way off subject but I want to point something out! The friends I have made over the years on T are priceless. Sure we love to cut each other down and give each other a hard time on here but some things you just cannot explain? I have a near and dear friend who I met through this website and he’s from a rival region opponent Peabody. Words cannot explain the act of kindness that one poster recently proposed to me! A man from another community another school system called me last night wanting to feed our kids before Friday’s game with Halls? I was absolutely dumbfounded and so was Coach Quinn and others in the system here! This act of kindness won’t go unnoticed and I want the coachT world to know how great of a person you are! I value our friendship and enjoy talking with you often! It’s not about the food…just one person’s act of generosity and kindness! The legacy you will leave on this earth will be spoken of for years! Much love from the L @PeabodyPride

  6. If the kids enjoy the game, have a good man leading them, have a sense of belonging to a group, and stay out of negative environments through football...guess what? Winning or scholarships are icing on the cake.

  7. What exactly does oakland have to lose? I would disagree because sp could lose players to injury because your buddy scheduled this one. Lot of difference in 1a and 6a with a thin roster vs depth at each position.

  13. Just like Meigs offense. Running same plays over and over again and listening to you talk about how great the coach is and how if you win by one point or 50 it's a win. I finally got some people seeing what's going on. I love Meigs football. Our guys fight hard and give it there all. Our coaches are great. Our fans are awesome It's ok to say to sometimes you get outcoached or things go your way or don't go your way or you get a little luck. We got some rain last night second half. Running those same old plays over and over almost bit us last night. If you can't admit that your blind. Punter, Defense and the trick play saved us. Offense did nothing all night. It's ok. Just got to work on some things. You must be a coach or a fanboy

  14. yes I know that very well! Maybe so if the play calling gets better and put players in a better position to succeed. Normally I would be VERY confident heading into the game with both NE and Portland. I just need to see us put it together. Hopefully with this little change it sparks something. We ever thought about trying some up tempo offense? Lol I kinda like Josh Heupel's offense at Tennessee.

  20. Well, Stacmot, I did miss that. I have 3 grandkids I need to watch in person today, and got distracted. They are playing soccer, baseball, and running cross country. I’m also trying to squeeze in a couple of college football games on TV. I skimmed your post, but wasn’t “grading it for accuracy”. The Chargers did play Alcoa in Cookeville in 2017 and 2018. We got closer the last time (21-14, as I recall) than anybody has come to them recently in the title game.

  21. Rlh Murphy had the biggest pole with that Hargis man and that Stewart man a close second. This writer man is doing good though. Im not joking either.

  22. Has your son got his Charger/Tomcat gear ready? I would like to see both teams make it to Chattanooga. That would definitely be awesome.

  23. I can not wait for this game!!! Having played for the chargers and now living in Haywood,, this will be a win win for me!! I love both teams!! I expect a 7 point game. Hope both teams come out injury fee! What’s cool is that both teams have a really good chance to make it to Chattanooga!! That will be awesome!

  26. No mention of McKenzie other than ranked 3 and that’s fair. But to not have them in the discussion to be there is unjust. I guess the region we were placed in really does hurt us with the level of competition in it. None the less, that is why we play them. Going to be a fun week 11 thru 15.

  30. I know everybody loves coach. I do too. Just an observation. He is an amazing coach and turned Meigs around. Just what I thought. The extra points, play calling, preparation, penalties, etc. Yeti the trick play accounted for more than half our total yards. It was a game changer. We got the ball close to midfield with 520 to go on clock. We went backwards on 3 plays and only used less than 20 seconds of clock before we gave the ball back. It was 3 and out after 3 and out and Tyner new what was coming. We all did. I did. I'm sure you all did. That's why the one trick play worked. We couldn't do anything else. It's not a knock on Fitz. Just tonight I feel Tyners coach had his guys more prepared and did a better job of coaching.

  31. It’s funny to hear someone say that. High school Football is about the kids and learning life lessons whether it be wining or losing. It’s about the kids. People like you are what make people dislike some of the higher classified schools. Try having some class because when the colleges look for athletes, they could care less if you have 500 or 5000 kids that go to your school. Which is what determines the classification of each school. Once again it’s about the kids.

  34. Congrats to the Tomcats. Y'all have a great team. I kinda felt like the team that made the fewest mistakes would win the contest. The game was closer than the scoreboard says. SGC got inside the redzone 4 times and came up fruitless all the 4 times. I think is safe to say that Haywood has improved the defense! I appreciate the sportsmanship, banter, and quality posters from Haywood. I wish yall nothing but luck moving on.

  36. Talked to a player from last season (said he graduated 2020). Asked him from a players pov about all the speculation I’m reading on this thread about Gaddis and weightlifting etc. He said YES it IS mandatory and the DC Minor (spelling?) is in charge of the weight program. However, he said there are exceptions to the rule. For example Kendall Jackson doesn’t necessarily have to be there since he works out separately with trainers and his Dad apparently. Also he stated others as well that have a pass. He also said that Gaddis doesn’t really coach and that he leaves everything up to his staff. Having said that he clarified that Gaddis doesn’t just do nothing…he said he’s a great leader and he “knows players like the back of his hand” and “remembers every player in detail he has ever coached”. He said players love him. Just my 2 cents. Thought I’d share what this young man said.

  38. Good post! It's good to see a team outside the top ten get recognition for their accomplishments. Oakdale is definitely deserving and hats off to Coach Voyles for a job well done. Considering what he has to work, I'd say he does a good of a job as any.
