  6. Jury is still out for me on this Warrior team. QB play has to improve a lot I believe. Warriors should have everyone back for this game. This one could be closer than people think.

  7. I would absolutely agree. This should be without questions, the biggest game in the state.

  8. CD - best players are number 13,7&4 . They are very good and can score at any time on offense or defense. They are big up front and pretty physical. SG- their rb is pretty explosive and they have a good OL. Big athletic receiver on the outside that can cause matchup problems. both teams are very well coached and should be a really good game. If sg can slow down 13 for CD then they should be able to win and I feel like they have a slight edge.

  9. TSSAA has a coaching connection rule. If a student goes to a mini camp or summer league event or is coached by another coach in the off season, that constitutes a connection. According to the rule, student is required to sit out a year. We wanted to transfer schools until we found this rule. Our kid was enrolled at school A with an athletic record. Kid does off-season/club stuff with school B. Wanted to transfer to school B but would have to sit out a year. We were willing to sell our house and move. In the end, the coach at school B, as much as he would have liked to have our kid (at a weight that he could have helped a lot) told us to stay at A. First class guy who plays by the rules.

  12. I don’t even know. Seems like they have a few sophomores getting some reps along with some juniors now. They are moving pieces around trying to get better. A lot of these kids never played last year and they now have 3 games under their belt. This is a completely new system and way to do things. They are improving and I think it will all get better as we go along.

  13. Good luck against Mo East next week. Love to see you guys 4-0.

  14. Well they get what they deserve. The sad part is it’s the dumba$$ that voted him in aren’t the ones getting hurt. Thanks a lot Matt Brookshier, Phill Moffit, Tinke, and even though she didn’t vote for him she casted a vote that was useless Jessica Spafford.

  15. Alcoa had there chance to move to 4A and apparently wanted to play teams they are more structured to beat. They chose to stay 3A. And talking a little early because they do play Greeneville next week.

  16. Anyone who thinks this guy can build a program is sadly mistaken. The way he acted after the game sprinting to Coach Reeves and then the field house shows this guys class. Guarantee if HHS had one he would have been hanging out taking all the pats in the back.

  19. I guess that L just hits different when your the “Premier” program… Probably a good thing they are THE Premier Program. Probably would have had a lot less than 22 yds in the second half if they weren’t.

  20. I'm not lying, some of the players were kneeling during the anthem they were surrounded by guys who choose to honor the anthem. When the parents are sitting during the anthem, it's a good indication their children are also gonna do something similar. You've been around the program for 3 years congrats, not very long. Trump night? You are reaching because nothing about Trump is anti black. But kneeling and sitting during the anthem is 100% anti American. I don't have any reason to lie and sully my reputation on coacht, I've been here for quite awhile, but I'm sure the dude with 4 comments to his name is gonna come out of the wood work and suddenly call someone a liar who up to this point has been 100% honest on everything he has posted.

  21. Congratulations to Dyersburg. They dominated my Covington team last night. I do think they will walk thru Region 7-3A. My Chargers are going to have a long season if we can’t get our pass defense to do any better. Dyersburg did a good job passing against us, just like Munford and Brighton had. The pass opened up the run and the Trojans moved the ball at will after halftime. A 3-0 halftime lead was close, but the second half was all Dyersburg.

  23. Dude your biggest fan on here went out of his way in his “game film breakdown” of USJ this week to say much worse than “fluky.” Being triggered over the word “fluky” isn’t a good look. As far as the PI and unsportsmanlike like stuff I wasn’t at your game but there are some programs that have players do that stuff. Last week we had opposing players curse around an 80 year old woman who works the player gate, yell at fans at halftime, wave at fans during the game, and overall show bad sportsmanship routinely this season including punching other players and lewd conduct that was simply speechless. Some programs just have a culture of stuff like that nowadays.

  26. 47-14 finish Tyner finally scored when mcminn put secondary in 40-0, shame that Tyner fans sat during national anthem and half of their players were kneeling. Poor leadership values in my opinion

  27. Where are the illegal transfers on Upperman’s team? Name one… actually name A single transfer on this team.
    1 point
  28. Agreed. No sense in doing that stuff. Upperman should be above that with the program having had the kind of success it’s had.

  34. So do the Clinton recruits ride the bus with the team on game day, or ride in the white church van with the coach? Asking for a friend.

  35. They actually have 2 seniors, and then 3 full classes underneath. They are not good. I’m not sure of their schedule but they will have a hard time being competitive.

  36. Yes indeed it does. However so do the arts, athletics, and spiritual parts of the school. All should be striving to be the best they can. Its not an either or. Never understood this attitude. Are you ok with your science dept. not meeting expectations as well? Excellence should be the goal through out the school.

  39. If anybody is interested, the USJ at TCA game (TCA version) will be video livestreamed on Facebook beginning at 6:30 central time at https://www.facebook.com/TrinityChristianLions. There is no fee to view this game. The 15 year TCA broadcast team of Dave McCulley and Stan Gerard will have the call of the action. It should be a good one.

  40. Everyone knows this is what has been going on. There are coaches on that staff that have leaked it out. They have told others that "it's gotten out of hand" and "they will be leaving after this year" because of it. There are photos circulating of kids leaving his house in the morning and going back to his house in the evening. There are photos circulating of Coach Flip Flops taking them to and from school... to and from workouts... all time stamped and dated. It's just a matter of time. If I'm him, I resign now. Just let everyone know this is it after this season I'm out. If he does that...he can avoid the embarrassment that is coming. And it IS coming.

  42. People hate cheating.People hate watching kids being bused from all over to play and take spots from actually Clinton kids. You mentioned all the losing at Clinton so how would you explain kids coming from all over to play for a traditionally bad team. You can understand a few kids wanting to go play for big time programs or coaches but Clinton has neither. But somehow Clinton has acquired lots of players. Not to mention the toxic culture.Flipping birds in pics and putting on social media. The personal fouls and ejections and on and on.Clinton has done more than enough past couple of years to earn the rep they currently have

  43. Not so fast my friend. Pendergrass, Hundley and Blair all played this week. Pendergrass and Hundley both played last week. There is some question/controversy brewing over this. One of the players according to many has yet to move from his Oak Ridge residence and he played in the game Fri. So, stay tuned for more on this.
