We haven't had a lot of good news in Rocketland this week. Most everyone shares your opinion about the players and the lack of opportunity. The only bright spot for the program coming into 2023 was talk about the new offense.

I think it’s great that tophat cares so much about the youth not only in Clinton but in Knoxville that he would provide a means for these young men to play football at Clinton. I don’t think his record reflects the hard work he is putting in off the field with these kiddos. just know, in these situations be careful as that hand that feeds usually gets bitten.

I noticed on film that Gleason only has 5 or 6 players on the sideline, which Perry County doesn't have a ton on the sideline but more then that, in this heat do you think this could be a gamechanger? Greenfield really looked gassed against us last week but Gleason is a better team as well.

Some of y’all are either nuts or ignorant on here. Maybe just don’t know much about the game of football. I expect a good game tonight. Obviously pulling for my Indians, but no matter what I thinks it’s a battle. Heck nobody really knows until they step inside those lines. It’s week 2 for gods sake and people are writing us off for the whole season. I liked a lot of what we did last week against Farragut and you have to realize that a ton of these kids have never played varsity football before. Holy crap! Thank you for someone finally saying it! We get it, Tygard hung the moon. Nevermind the mess he LEFT here..the money mismanagement (that was honestly borderline criminal). The lack of integrity...give it a season and the folks down in Hamilton County will see it also. It was a train wreck waiting to happen...he got out before he got busted. You only listen to his side of the story...you don't know the slimy side of the Tygard story. The stuff he (or his coaches) do NOT want in the public eye...ask his sidekick coach where he was when he disappeared for 2 months.. I assure you that you don't know anything of the current coaching staff...you simply choose to listen to the crap Tygard pours into you and you take it..hook, line and sinker. You would be FLOORED by the stuff that went on there...but no doubt, you wouldn't even try to believe it. Tygard is ONLY in it for Tygard. He used Marshall and Brown to boost Tygard...so he could move on down the road and pretend like he built them. Those boys were Blackman built...NOT Tygard built...and Honestly, Tygard's ego stole Brown's Mr Football award. Daddy Risner had him by the "Mini Tygards"...so much so that he was forced to push Risner for Mr Football...splitting the vote and robbing Brown of a sure Mr Football title. He did it just so Tygard could say "Look at me..."I had 2 Mr Football Candidates!!!" Ask any lineman what they thought of Tygard, ask the Running backs what they thought of Tygard. Ask any of the "Other Kids" not being recruited by big D1 schools. Ask Bell's father what he thought of Tygard before he booked it back to McGavock. Ask the recruiters that came through. Ask ANY coach worth their salt what they thought of Tygard...you will not like the answer. So take your "Daddy's Money"...and head down to Cleveland on Friday nights...trust me, the boys know the trash you talk about them...and if someone were to ask them if you'll be missed...the will simply answer "He Left A Lot to be Desired"....but "What do I Know"?

You and I normally agree but I'll respectfully disagree on the last statement. Most 1A schools have to play iron man football. If I'm at a 5A school, I better be able to have enough depth and talent to keep fresh bodies on the field. By the 4th Q, the bigger school should be able to wear down the other. Yes a coach can make that much of a difference! When you have a coach that knows these kids, knows the parents and the community, then that coach can make a difference, a HUGE difference. No matter the outcome tonight, you will see a totally different Bulldogs teams this year than what you did last year. These kids love the head coach and yeah its only been 1 game this season but the atmosphere and the joy you see in these kids is leaps and bounds above last year.

It’s not the talent levels at GB guys. It hasn’t been for the last couple of years, it’s the coaching. Pretty boy was an absolute idiot, now Don Juan the soccer mom bandit is continuing the tradition it seems. With a capable staff I’m not saying they’d be the same caliber as they were a few years back but they’d be a very good team. The jimmys and joes are mostly there for them.

Riverside big, even if they postpone it until Christmas Day. If the Panther offense doesn't give Lexington some short field possessions, they'll have trouble putting up points enough to stay close until the half. Second half will be all blue.

Don't try to put words into my mouth as I am just stating facts! IMO, Tennessee is smart to have a heat index rule that protects the players, officials and coaches. My biggest fear is that we have so many officials that are 75+ pounds (severely obese) overweight and one of them will have a heart attack or heat stroke and die during a game.

Pearl-Cohn takes on everyone.....AND I MEAN EVERYONE. So far this fall they've seen Brentwood Academy, Cane Ridge, MBA, and now CPA. I'd hate to be their first region foe next week. The game will almost seem like it's moving in slow motion to them at that point.
