He’s typically a terror on the defensive side of the ball. He is in constant pursuit. This will be a good test for Monterey as they have just this year moved up to 2A. Station Camp…. The lift-a-thon didn’t raise enough money this year for MJ. Both teams are slightly overrated and neither have a chance against Halls out of the East. Good luck to both teams.

I looked at offensive numbers to judge how good North Side is. North Side only scored 30+ points just one time. That was a prayer against South Gibson. We scored a 42-45 yard touchdown pass with 5 seconds left to win the game. That got us to 30 points. Haywood, has scored 30+ points 4 times. I'll even take it a step further for the Tomcats, they have scored 40+ points four times. North Side was the team that nobody picked to be second in this district. I had them finishing 3rd. They have the most underrated player in the district in Isaiah Reed (#65). How many people know he is going to Louisville to play football? Hardly anybody... DeCameron DeMoss (#6) picked up an offer from Tennessee State the other day. They do have athletes. BUTTT, they lack special teams. They lack creativity on offense. Their offensive playbook is monotonous and boring. It's the same 10-15 plays. QB doesn't have the best arm in velocity. Studying film is the study guide to the test. Simple. This is not a big physical football team, they're pretty small. They have been pretty small for a while. Why am I not convince in Jesse Powell? Why do I not believe in the guy? It's the same 7-3/6-4 season with a potential win in the first round and exit in the second round. North Side is 1-10 I believe against teams that finished with a record of .500 or better since the 2019 season. The lone with was against South Gibson this year. That record is approaching Mickey Marley territory when he was at USJ. Haywood will win this game with ease, 42-20.

Either Region 5 or 6, they are geographically in the middle of both. So who cares. Either you more than likely face Forrest for the Region Championship or you face Parsons Riverside. He clearly don’t understand that and needs mental help. As far as their non district games, they can pic them. Argue that. Tougher non-district Schedule since there will be a couple teams not as strong in the district to ready yourself for the playoffs, Argue that. Coaches teach and demand discipline from the players. So many undisciplined selfish players on every team these days. We see players on TV at college and pro level that can't control their emotions. It is just the world we sadly are living in. Not just metro and public schools that have these players also. I watched as I always do every week but WB was looking good and had the momentum and had the holder not bobbled the snap on the 46 yard field goal attempt allowing Sevier County to set up shop at the 40 yard line in the middle of the second quarter WB should of won this game. When that happened Sevier County made them pay for it driving down field like the first team does in practice against the hamburger squad. I've got an old saying, you better always use your qb as the holder in case something bad happens because he has the best experience to jump up and find someone open. Oh well it's a new week and a new team and personally WB can win this game if something stupid don't happen. I'm not impressed with West Ridge as I was in the beginning. Their schedule consist of the regular group of teams in the northeast corner of the state that seem to exist and all play for a chance at the Jaycee Turd Bowl at seasons end.

Same old Dyersburg. Load up on some easy pickings early, get a nice record and then run into some good teams. Covington wins this one by two TDs.

I’m a numbers kind of guy. So let’s take a look inside the numbers. Lewis Co. is 30-36 all time in the playoffs. That means they win about 45% of the time. They have made it to the semis 2!times. Once in 1979 in the old 3 class days and again in 2013 when they were actually in 3A the largest classification they have ever been in. Now on the opposite side Page is on 16-22 in the playoffs. That’s about half as many wins and less of a winning percentage. Also they have made it to semis 3 time and all as a 3A team. They are now 5A. So the numbers would indicate that they are not as competitive as Lewis co cause they don’t get to the playoffs as much and win less when they get there. Also it shows that they are not good enough to compete in the higher class that they are currently classified for. Anyone wanna take offense to Pizzatard just remember this post and how pathetic his team is. Amen.

Whoever comes out of the west for 5a will beat the east team, and it ain’t gonna be Halls. Also, I can see why MJ would be overrated, but Station Camp? Station Camp was 0-24 coming into this season and have made it to 5-0. I don’t know about overrated but from being the laughing stock of Middle Tennessee to 5-0 and in this sort of game with MJ is big time.
