Jury is still out for me on this Warrior team. QB play has to improve a lot I believe. Warriors should have everyone back for this game. This one could be closer than people think.

That win over Watertown is pretty impressive. The win I see over Bledsoe after they nailed Sale Creek last night. Then they torched East Ridge. Pirates have a good team but so does Sequatchie. It will be tough to win by more than 14. Should be a classic SP/SC game like we’ve seen through the years.

Can't help but to come out of last night thinking if we played week 2 we win that game at FACS. The crusaders are a good football team though #1 is one of the faster kids I've seen with the ball. We started the game kicking to #1 and he brought it back almost 100 for a TD. We score on a 25 or so yd pass. Then #1 takes their first offensive play all the way. Without those 2 miscues it's a different outcome for sure, had to knock the rust off but it is what it is. Tip of the cap to FACS for sure though they're tough and keyed Milton well all night. Both defenses played really well especially the 2nd half. Just have to take this lump and move on to Perry County

Alcoa had there chance to move to 4A and apparently wanted to play teams they are more structured to beat. They chose to stay 3A. And talking a little early because they do play Greeneville next week.

Anyone who thinks this guy can build a program is sadly mistaken. The way he acted after the game sprinting to Coach Reeves and then the field house shows this guys class. Guarantee if HHS had one he would have been hanging out taking all the pats in the back.

Congratulations to Dyersburg. They dominated my Covington team last night. I do think they will walk thru Region 7-3A. My Chargers are going to have a long season if we can’t get our pass defense to do any better. Dyersburg did a good job passing against us, just like Munford and Brighton had. The pass opened up the run and the Trojans moved the ball at will after halftime. A 3-0 halftime lead was close, but the second half was all Dyersburg.

Isn't it funny how outsiders get on here and say their taught the same plays as the high school from the pee wees on. Their all different systems but the key thing they learn at each stage is displine. When the the junior high was having teams with 30 players a lot of that had to do with Mr.and Mrs. Puss Puss was afraid of head injuries so they wouldn't allow their kid to play. I know exactly the other reason your mentioning and yes they aren't singing from the same songbook the high school team sings from and should be on the same page.

Saw a little of the game last night. That kid would start at QB on any team in this region. Didn't realize he was a freshman. Very impressive.

Coach Marty Wheeler has seen the light he is at Dyersburg now !!

Not making excuses but a couple of starters are battling thru some injuries and playing through them plus we lost another young stud on the DL tonight early in the game (hope hes ok). We are also still replacing 6 starters from last season and the youngins are having to grow up in a hurry and still making plays but mistakes simultaneously. Also gotta give credit to Farragut. They have some players that may not pass the eye test but are very talented and full of heart. They never quit and battle to the end...interesting to see how their schedule plays out bc it is brutal the rest of the way. Big one next week at Maryville to see where this team really stands! Go Rebels!

Dude your biggest fan on here went out of his way in his “game film breakdown” of USJ this week to say much worse than “fluky.” Being triggered over the word “fluky” isn’t a good look. As far as the PI and unsportsmanlike like stuff I wasn’t at your game but there are some programs that have players do that stuff. Last week we had opposing players curse around an 80 year old woman who works the player gate, yell at fans at halftime, wave at fans during the game, and overall show bad sportsmanship routinely this season including punching other players and lewd conduct that was simply speechless. Some programs just have a culture of stuff like that nowadays.

They actually have 2 seniors, and then 3 full classes underneath. They are not good. I’m not sure of their schedule but they will have a hard time being competitive.

Yes indeed it does. However so do the arts, athletics, and spiritual parts of the school. All should be striving to be the best they can. Its not an either or. Never understood this attitude. Are you ok with your science dept. not meeting expectations as well? Excellence should be the goal through out the school.

Everyone knows this is what has been going on. There are coaches on that staff that have leaked it out. They have told others that "it's gotten out of hand" and "they will be leaving after this year" because of it. There are photos circulating of kids leaving his house in the morning and going back to his house in the evening. There are photos circulating of Coach Flip Flops taking them to and from school... to and from workouts... all time stamped and dated. It's just a matter of time. If I'm him, I resign now. Just let everyone know this is it after this season I'm out. If he does that...he can avoid the embarrassment that is coming. And it IS coming.

I was told by a former OR Wildcat that I work with, that most of the ones that transferred to Clinton wasn't good enough to start at OR anyway, so it didn't really hurt them any.
